Update on Project Revan

Project Revan

Project Revan is still going strong! Most of you will remember the updates we brought you not so long ago about Project Revan and the Kickstarter campaign that was going to help support the project. Project Revan is a fan film based off of, the science fiction novel, Star Wars: The Old Republic – Revan by Drew Karpyshyn, produced by diehard fans. It was fully funded on Kickstarter and the filming is underway now.

However, you can still support the team and their project by making donations directly through their website. If you were a donator/supporter, you can keep up to date on what is happening with the project and the filming via their Facebook page and website.

Steven Shulgach, Director and DP has an update on the status of the project:

“We are making are way through the trials and tribulations of the film project with strength. We are getting closer to wrapping the production process this coming month, and are ALL very excited to get the post-production, the creative process, rolling. It has been and still is a bumpy ride, as we have to manage and schedule our actors and crew around the clock and it get’s difficult as we maintain our professional standards. To all that may have doubt, the project has not halted – In fact there is something happening every week and you can follow all the updates on our Facebook page here -https://www.facebook.com/pages/Star-Wars-Fan-Film-The-Old-Republic-Revan/505928859448458

I sincerely apologize for not keeping up with the Kickstarter page’s update system, as the updates have been posted elsewhere on the Facebook page, as it is most accessible and efficient for all kinds of media.

We continue to put in the effort and drive to this project as we near production completion a little down the road… We thank you for all your support so far, and wish to satisfy our fans and followers, as we too continue in this awesome project! Thank you all again!

Best regards to all… and may the force be with you…”

For example, a recent post says they will be selling replicas of the masks used in the film. They also share some great art galleries of photos from the set. If you’re following the project, you want to be sure you like them on Facebook so you don’t miss any of these cool updates as the filming progresses.
