It’s finally here- game update 1.3 is on the public test realms. Not only does this mean you might have the opportunity yourself to play this new content before it is released to all players, but it also means we will start seeing news and updates coming from the PTS so we know what to expect from the game update ourselves.

Game Update 1.3: Allies has a lot of great new features, such as the Group Finder tool and Ranked Warzones, to name a few. One of the big focuses for us in testing this Game Update is the Group Finder tool and as such, we want to help incentivize our players to hop onto PTS and help us test it.
There are two titles* that you can earn from helping us test our Group Finder tool, they are:
- Strike Team Specialist – In order to get this title, a player will need to complete four pieces of content (meaning Flashpoints, Hard Mode Flashpoints Tier 1/Tier 2 or Story Mode Operations) using the Group Finder tool in its default search setting on a single day OR eight pieces of content (using the Group Finder’s default setting) within seven days.
- Strike Team Commander – In order to get this title, a player will need to complete four pieces of content in a single day AND eight pieces of content within seven days. Again, using the Group Finder tool’s default search setting.
*Please note the following:
- All titles will be granted when Game Update 1.3 goes live.
- The deadline to meet the requirements for the titles is June 16th, 2012.
Our Character Copy tool is still in testing, so we are again using a manual process to copy characters from our Live servers to our Public Test Server. We have streamlined this process to ensure we can get as many players as possible copied to the PTS if they choose to help test our new systems. Please note that this is a manual, batch process and the last batch that we copied was on Monday, June 4th. We will be performing batch copies on an ongoing basis, so please be sure to check out the Public Test Server forum for updates on when they have occurred. We cannot guarantee that every character will copy to the PTS successfully, however we can assure you that characters on Live servers will not be affected in any way should the tool fail. If you notice that you filled out the survey but your character did not copy, please fill out the survey again.
