A new NSFW add-on for Daggerfall Unity called Weeberfall – Dibellan Degeneracy (NSFW) is exactly what it sounds like: an extremely adult-oriented patch that unlocks and distributes explicit NPC portrait content across the Iliac Bay — using a simple but surprisingly powerful JSON patch.

What is “Dibellan Degeneracy” for Daggerfall Unity?
Dibellan Degeneracy is not a texture pack.
It doesn’t add any new sprites or images.
Instead, it works as a configuration patch for NPC Flat Replacer, assigning explicit variants (already included in another mod) to different NPCs across the game world.

The NSFW assets already exist in Weeberfall Pixel Waifu Renaissance Definitive Edition
This patch releases them into the actual game world
Through NPC Flat Replacer, the content becomes encounterable in normal gameplay
It’s basically the mod version of:
“The forbidden content was always there. We just… enabled it.”
What does the mod change in gameplay?
This patch uses a JSON config to:
distribute explicit portrait replacements to NPCs across regions
apply replacements based on location/quality rules
introduce specific “special” replacements, including major characters

Requirements (important — or nothing happens)
This is NOT standalone.
You must have both of these installed, or the patch will do absolutely nothing:
Put the included JSON file into your NPC Flat Replacer configuration folder
Launch Daggerfall Unity
And yes, step 6 is apparently:
“Accept Dibella into your heart.”
(We’re all just along for the ride.)
Optional: “Degeneracy Control Panel” (disable specific NPC entries)
This is one of the smartest parts of the mod.
Because even the most loyal followers of Dibella may not enjoy every flavor of chaos, the creator made it easy to turn specific entries off.
Inside the JSON file:
each entry has a Description
some also have a Category
you can remove individual blocks to disable one replacement entirely
Example: if you don’t want to see the Gortwog scene, delete its block from:

Save the file. Done.
That NPC will never appear again.
This makes the mod a lot more flexible than typical “NSFW replacer packs,” where it’s all-or-nothing.
Is this mod safe / stable?
It’s “safe” in the sense that:
it’s a config patch
doesn’t inject scripts or runtime-heavy features (from what we can see)
mostly uses existing systems and content
But as always with Daggerfall Unity modding:
keep backups
test in a fresh save if you’re stacking multiple portrait mods
check load order / mod conflicts (especially anything touching portraits)
