Buckle up, because you’re about to dive into the minds of our stellar team who make the StarWars: Gamers universe the vibrant community it is today. And remember, when it comes to Star Wars knowledge, these guys and gals are the real Jedi Masters.

Gingetattoo

Meet Gingetattoo, our resident Star Wars historian and retro gaming aficionado. His love affair with Star Wars began in 1977 when his dad took him to see the original movie in theaters, and he’s been a dedicated fan ever since. Gingetattoo proudly shows off his extensive collection of Star Wars memorabilia to anyone willing to take a trip down memory lane.

But his passion doesn’t stop at collectibles. Gingetattoo also has a treasure trove of retro consoles and games, with his prized possession being the Atari 2600. His first Star Wars gaming experience was on this very console, and he still brushes it off from time to time for a nostalgic gaming session.

Gingetattoo isn’t just stuck in the past, though. He continues to play Star Wars: Battlefront and Star Wars: The Old Republic, and he loves diving into modded versions of KOTOR. If there’s a Star Wars game out there, you can bet he’s played it, dissected it, and mastered it. He’s the go-to guy for all things Star Wars gaming, blending a rich history with a love for modern adventures in a galaxy far, far away.

Novara Skuara

Say hello to Novara Skuara, our console queen and cosplay connoisseur! Originally a gamer wife, Novara embraced the gaming world from her late wife and has been a force to be reckoned with ever since. She fell in love with Star Wars during her teens, avidly watching all the prequels in theaters. Today, she cherishes the sequels, sharing the magic of Star Wars with her kids, who are as enamored with the galaxy far, far away as she was growing up.

Novara primarily plays on consoles and loves diving into games like LEGO Star Wars and Star Wars: Hunters on the Nintendo Switch with her kids. Their family gaming sessions are the stuff of legends!

When she’s not gaming, Novara is active in the cosplay scene. She rocks an incredible Satele Shan and Bastila Shan, turning heads at conventions with her impeccable costumes. And while she also has a Slave Leia outfit, that’s reserved for special, more intimate occasions. 😉

Novara’s blend of family-friendly gaming and passionate cosplay makes her a cherished member of our team, bringing the Star Wars universe to life in ways that inspire fans of all ages.

Matt “ObiWaN” Hansen

Meet Matt “ObiWaN” Hansen, our resident Star Wars sage with a heart full of nostalgia and a bookshelf overflowing with Star Wars lore. His Star Wars journey began with a German-dubbed version his dad recorded on their old Betamax. Despite almost having his heart broken when Greedo shot first in the remastered version, Matt’s love for Star Wars never wavered.

Matt has devoured every Star Wars book he can get his hands on, yes, even “The Silver Star,” and has watched every TV show and movie ever made. These days, he’s having a blast watching Ewok Adventure with his youngest and enjoying The Acolyte with his oldest daughter.

A pillar of the Star Wars: Galaxy community, Matt was one of the founders of the city “Turborg” on the Eclipse server and remains active in the SWG emu scene today. He also co-founded the SWG subreddit and the SWG wiki back in the day. Matt still plays SWG, Jedi: Survivor, and Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (though mostly when he’s on the toilet).

Looking forward to the release of Star Wars Outlaws, Matt is a true Jedi Master of Star Wars gaming and lore, sharing his passion and knowledge with fans far and wide.

Annalise Clark

Meet Annalise Clark, affectionately known as Lisa to her friends and fans. Lisa has been an avid gamer since she was old enough to hold her first controller and has been a game writer for more than a decade. As a child of the Nintendo generation, she believes they just don’t make games like they used to—but sometimes, they make them even better! While consoles will always be her first love, Lisa now spends most of her gaming time on the PC, diving into MMOs and first-person shooters.

Lisa was the first to join our team and has written over 1,000 articles for the blog. She’s had the privilege of meeting with the SWTOR writers numerous times on different occasions and is on a first-name basis with most of them. Her deep connections and insights make her an invaluable part of our StarWars: Gamers family.

But there’s more to Annalise than just gaming. She now writes queer fantasy, paranormal romance, and supernatural stories. A lifelong fan of the mysterious, the unexplainable, and things that go bump in the night, she’s turned her overactive imagination into a creative outlet, sharing the stories that have been brewing in her mind. Here books can be found here.

Living in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, Lisa spends as much time as she can traveling and writing from beautiful places. When she’s not writing, you can find her reading, hiking, running, or binge-watching paranormal shows. Her adventurous spirit and love for storytelling make her a dynamic and cherished member of our team.
