This 46-Minute AI Fan Film Finally Turns Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire Into a Movie

YouTube channel Star Wars Chronicles has released a 45-minute fan film adapting the cult-favorite Legends story set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It is unofficial, partly created with generative AI, and already pulling in hundreds of thousands of views. More importantly, it gives Dash Rendar, Prince Xizor, Guri and the criminal empire of Black Sun something fans have wanted since 1996: an actual screen adaptation.
