One of the most interesting chapters in Leia Organa’s life has, until now, lasted roughly as long as it takes a stormtrooper to miss a doorway. In The Rise of Skywalker, we briefly saw Luke training Leia as a Jedi on Ajan Kloss. She had a lightsaber, she clearly knew how to use it, and then the flashback ended before anyone could ask the obvious question: what was that entire period actually like? A new Star Wars novel is finally going to answer it. Star Wars: Twin Crossroads, written by Beth Revis, will follow Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa after Return of the Jedi. The novel is scheduled for April 2027 and will explore Luke training his first student, who also happens to be his twin sister.
