Star Wars: Starfighter is still months away from release, but Disney has apparently seen enough of Ryan Gosling and Shawn Levy together to hand them another major franchise. At Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, Gosling was officially announced as Ghost Rider in a new film scheduled for 2028. Shawn Levy will direct, reuniting the pair immediately after their work on Star Wars: Starfighter. That does not prove Starfighter is brilliant. But it does look like a rather loud vote of confidence.
