The end is near, but that doesnโt mean the arena is going quiet. Star Wars: Hunters Season 6 is officially live, and itโs bringing a final blast of chaos, color, and Nanite-fueled mayhem before the servers power down for good this December.
As confirmed in the official patch notes, this is the final major update to the game. In-game purchases have been disabled, cosmetics and Hunters have been unlocked for everyone, and two brand-new game modes are here to spice things up until the lights go out. Itโs a bittersweet farewell, but itโs going out with flair.
Meet Tuya and Tubs โ The Support Duo You Didnโt Know You Needed
The headline act of Season 6 is Tuya, a Twiโlek bio-engineer-turned-punk-rebel, and her loyal droid companion T-U8 (affectionately known as Tubs). If youโve ever wondered what it would look like if a medical dropout turned her lab equipment into a healing cannon, Tuya is your answer.
Armed with her Nanite Launcher, Tuya can heal allies and damage enemies from range. The longer you let her charge it with her SUPERCHARGER ability, the harder it hits. She’s basically a combat medic who got bored with protocol.
Add in GRAPPLE DROID, which lets her launch Tubs across the map and grapple to him like an anti-authoritarian Spider-Man, and youโve got serious mobility plus squad support.
Need a burst of healing across the board? STIM SPIN spreads health to everyone nearby and adds a healing-over-time buff. If things are really going sideways, OVERDRIVE pulses Nanites to damage enemies and grant temporary health to allies. Itโs support, with style.
New Game Modes: Holo-Arcade Mayhem
In true send-off fashion, Season 6 brings two hilarious and chaotic new modes to the Holo-Arcade. Theyโre fast, fun, and just a little bit ridiculous โ exactly what you’d want for a final victory lap.
Tuya Chase
Everyone plays as Tuya. Everyone has a droid. The goal? Grab the trophy and use Tubs to grapple your way around the map like you’re cosplaying as a rogue pinball. The longer you hold the trophy, the more chaos you invite. Expect shouting, mid-air collisions, and a lot of last-second snatches.
Take Aim
Itโs Zaina vs. Zaina in a headshot-only showdown. Land a headshot with her Custom DL-44 and the enemy is instantly out. Hit them anywhere else? You’re just being polite. This one is all about accuracy and reflexes. Itโs like laser tag, but every shot counts.
Whatโs Free (Hint: Everything That Matters)
Since the game is heading toward sunset mode, the devs are giving players the run of the arena. In-game purchases are disabled, and many cosmetics, Hunters, and Mods have been made free to equip.
Youโll be able to experiment with builds, try out different Hunters, and give your squad one final fashion upgrade before October 1, 2025. No more grinding. No more paywalls. Just play.
Quests, Challenges, and Ranked Mode
With the focus shifting to letting players enjoy the ride, Quests and Challenges have been removed. Instead, the team is rotating a mix of Game Modes regularly so that thereโs always something new to jump into.
Ranked Mode is still active and will be available right up until the shutdown. So if you want to go out as an arena legend, thereโs still time to climb those leaderboards. Just remember to have fun with it โ the stakes are temporary, but that final win? Eternal bragging rights.
Cosmetic Chaos Until the End
With everything unlocked, this is the time to go wild. Want to see how intimidating Imara looks in bubblegum pink armor? Do it. Curious how Grozz would look if he dressed like a disco bounty hunter? Now’s the time. If there was ever a moment to mix performance and panache, itโs now.
And because cosmetics and Mods are available freely until October 1, 2025, thereโs almost an entire year to goof off in style before the servers close in December.
A Bittersweet Farewell
Itโs always tough saying goodbye to a game, especially one that brought such unique flavor to the Star Wars gaming space. Hunters may not have been the biggest title in the galaxy, but it carved out a niche with its colorful cast, fast-paced PvP, and commitment to chaos.
With Tuya and Tubs joining the roster, two new arcade modes to wreak havoc in, and free access to nearly everything, Season 6 feels like a celebration rather than a sendoff.
So grapple, blast, and laugh your way through these final months. The end may be near, but thereโs still a whole lot of fun left in the tank.
