Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes – Update Notes (October 15, 2025)

The Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes development team has dropped a fresh round of updates—and this one’s packed with content that will make both collectors and theorycrafters happy.

From two new character kits to event updates and bug fixes, here’s everything you need to know about the October 15, 2025 patch.

New Character Kits: The Stranger and 4-LOM

Two of the most anticipated Dark Side additions have finally landed in the holotables:

  • 4-LOM, the calculating bounty hunter and droid mastermind, debuts with a kit centered around a new debuff called Corrupted Translation, making him a perfect partner for Zuckuss and other assist-heavy hunters.
  • The Stranger, inspired by The Acolyte, enters the fray as a terrifying Sith attacker and leader whose abilities can instantly defeat enemies and amplify power through Cortosis Armor.

Both characters bring entirely new mechanics that expand the game’s Dark Side meta—especially for players who thrive in Grand Arena and Territory Battles.

Additive Drops, Fleet Updates, and More

Players looking to power up their rosters have plenty of reasons to grind this week:

  • Additive Drops are now live for Taron Malicos and Admiral Trench, offering limited-time farming boosts to help finish those units faster.
  • Brutus has been added to Fleet 2-A, making him more accessible for fleet-based progression.
  • Jedi Master Mace Windu returns with an Additional Event scheduled for October 28, 2025—a great chance for players to unlock or upgrade the purple-bladed powerhouse.
  • On that same date, Baylan Skoll becomes permanently available in the Journey Guide, ensuring new players and lore fans alike can recruit the fallen Jedi master without waiting for rotating events.

Bug Fixes and Technical Improvements

Capital Games also rolled out several key fixes that address some long-standing issues and crashes:

  • Resolved an issue with CX-2’s Unique 1 where Empire allies couldn’t target enemies inflicted with Order 66.
  • Fixed audio file crashes that were causing instability during battles.
  • Corrected an issue where Sith Eternal Emperor’s linked enemy could cancel the granted ability if defeated prematurely.
  • Fixed a Master Qui-Gon synergy bug where Galactic Republic allies were receiving Stealth instead of Speed Up when an ally was taunting.

These improvements should make battles smoother and more reliable across multiple modes.

Aurra Sing Gets a Sharper Shot

One of the patch’s most interesting adjustments involves the Bounty Hunter sniper, Aurra Sing. Her Sniper’s Expertise special has been reworked to improve damage scaling and reward all-Bounty-Hunter team comps:

Old Final Text:

Deal Physical damage to target enemy. If the target is Toppled, this attack deals 200% more damage and this ability’s cooldown is reset. (Only Raid Bosses can be Toppled.)

New Final Text:

Deal Physical damage to target enemy. If the target is Toppled, this attack deals 200% more damage and this ability’s cooldown is reset. (Only Raid Bosses can be Toppled.) If all allies were non-Galactic Legend Bounty Hunters at the start of battle, this attack deals 200% more damage to Stunned targets and this ability’s cooldown is reset.

This tweak gives traditional Bounty Hunter squads an extra offensive edge in PvE and Grand Arena matches—particularly against Stun-heavy teams.

Final Thoughts

The October 15 update might not be the largest of the year, but it’s a solid one—introducing fan-favorite characters, refining existing kits, and continuing to stabilize gameplay.

With The Stranger, 4-LOM, and Baylan Skoll’s permanent addition, the Dark Side continues to strengthen its hold on Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.

If you’re a long-time player or a returning hero from the Old Republic days, now’s the perfect time to jump back in, rework your Bounty Hunter roster, and prepare for the next wave of Galactic showdowns.
