The moon is full, the shadows are long, and somewhere in the Dead Forest, something is laughing. That can only mean one thing—the Galactic Moon Festival is back in Star Wars Galaxies: Legends! Running from October 10th to November 10th, 2025, this year’s event promises more scares, sweets, and strange noises than a Jawa scrapyard on spice.
So grab your costume, dust off that projector, and prepare for a month of haunted chaos across the galaxy. The Moon remembers who screams first.
Where to Begin Your Fright Night
To get started, you’ll need to find Z’ozpheratu, your ghoulish event host and general menace to public safety. He can be found in:
- Mos Eisley, Tatooine – /way 3522 -4806 (fun-size candy and villainy abound)
- Moenia, Naboo – /way 4790 -4778 (if something moves in the swamp, it’s probably not the wind)
- The Dead Forest, Kashyyyk – /way 54 -384 (locals say it’s peaceful; they’re lying)
Pick your poison—each location offers unique horrors and event challenges.
The Curse of the Haunted Tree
Deep in the Kashyyyk Dead Forest, the Haunted Tree has returned. The Sayormi spirits are back from the beyond, angrier and uglier than ever. The Tree Raid at /way 440 -380 is open to players of any combat level every 30–45 minutes.
Defeat the restless spirits and earn 25 Galactic Moon Festival Tokens plus a shot at rare loot—including four new collectible paintings this year. Fail, and you’ll feed the darkness (and probably respawn).
Trick or Treat… If You Dare
No Galactic Moon Festival is complete without Z’ozpheratu’s cursed costume transformations. Choose from iconic Star Wars species and creatures like:
- Hutt
- Jawa
- Droideka
- Salacious Crumb
- Geonosian
- Toydarian
- Pit Droid
Once dressed, seek out Costumed Festival Celebrants (they’re the skeletons) and greet them with a cheerful “Trick or Treat!”—or use a macro if you’re lazy like a droid on low battery.
They might reward you with coins… or mock your outfit. That’s when your Trick Projector comes in handy. Scare them properly, and you’ll earn even more GMF Tokens to spend on unique festival rewards.
Haunted Forest Riddles and Houses of Horror
Not all spirits fight—some just want to test your brains before eating them. Seek out the Forgotten Spirits at:
- A Tainted Soul – /way -400 -77
- An Old Soul – /way 313 303
Answer their riddles correctly or face the consequences. Then, if you still have courage (or poor judgment), visit the Haunted House at /way -209 297. Expect jump scares, cursed laughter, and maybe a Wookiee screaming in a pitch you didn’t think was possible.
Special Events, Loot, and Rewards
Beyond the frights and fun-size terror, there’s plenty to earn and explore:
- Dianoga Dumpster Reward – type
/claim
to see if you can snag this slimy house pet again - Charal the Witch-Queen – found on Endor at /way -4563 -2297, she’s recruiting help to wipe out Ewoks (a morally gray but entertaining choice)
- Illusive Chubafly Hunt – spawns every hour across the event locations for 15 minutes; trick him with a projector for special loot
- Horror Heroics – classic heroic instances like Lost Star Destroyer, Tusken Army, and Axkva Min get their spooky seasonal overhaul
And for the decorators among us, don’t miss the City Home Show—a new contest letting mayors and players compete for the best haunted city decorations across the galaxy. Judging starts November 7th, so bring your spookiest Storyteller Props.
Pro Tips from the Grave
Want to maximize your Trick-or-Treating efficiency?
- Buy Trick or Treat Projector II early (costs 200 tokens) and upgrade it for 700 more.
- Grab Ponda Baba’s Arm (900 tokens) for a bonus scare buff.
- Avoid combat—it breaks your costume faster than a Sith breaks promises.
- Jedi players can use Force Run to zip between celebrants.
- Save unspent tokens—they’ll carry over to next year’s event.
