Capital Games has officially revealed Kleya Marki as a marquee character in the new Era of Andor for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. She enters the Holotables as a Rebel Fighter Attacker built around crit pressure, turn meter swings, and one of the most momentum-flipping abilities we’ve seen in this era cycle.
This is not a filler marquee. Kleya is designed to be a core piece of the Rebel network squad built around Luthen Rael and other Rebel Fighters.
Quick Facts
Role: Attacker
Alignment: Light Side
Tags: Rebel, Rebel Fighter
Core strengths: Critical damage, Undermine synergy, turn meter gain
Key partner: Luthen Rael
Playstyle: Snowball damage dealer with clutch comeback potential
Unique Mechanics (Passive Effects)
Kleya comes loaded with built-in advantages before you even press a button.
She has bonus Critical Chance and Potency, meaning her debuffs land consistently and her hits matter. She gains Turn Meter whenever Rebel Fighter allies take damage, and that gain increases if the ally is Luthen Rael.
If an enemy she has undermined tries to debuff her, she cleanses herself and reduces her cooldowns. That makes her surprisingly hard to shut down for a glass-cannon attacker.
Allies with Keen Stratagem gain Accuracy and can ignore Taunt, which becomes important later in her kit.
Basic Ability
Kleya deals Physical damage to the target enemy.
If Luthen Rael is present, this attack cannot be evaded. If the entire squad consists of Rebel Fighters, the attack will critically hit whenever possible.
She deals bonus damage to Undermined enemies, making her basic far more dangerous once her engine is running.
Practical use: Her basic is not filler. Once Undermine is spread, even basic turns become real kill pressure.
Special 1 – “I Know What I Want”
Cooldown: 4 turns
Kleya applies Undermine to the target enemy (undispellable) and calls Luthen Rael plus another Rebel Fighter ally to assist. At the end of her turn, Rebel Fighter allies gain Attack Up.
This ability is the start button for her kit. You’re spreading Undermine, triggering assists, and boosting team damage all in one move.
Use this early to mark priority targets and accelerate your team’s damage curve.
Special 2 (Zeta) – “This Is Do or Die”
Cooldown: 4 turns
This is the ability that defines Kleya.
She deals AoE Physical damage and inflicts Burning. Undermined enemies lose Turn Meter and have their cooldowns increased. She then grants Keen Stratagem to a chosen ally.
Here’s the twist: if that ally is Luthen Rael and he is at low health, he is defeated — but your Rebel Fighter team is revived to full Health. Enemies are hit with Ability Block, and your Rebels gain a powerful Rebel Network effect that boosts Crit Chance, Speed, survivability, and on-kill sustain.
This is a controlled sacrifice mechanic. You can intentionally trade Luthen to reset your team, lock down the enemy squad, and completely flip the battle.
This is not just damage — it’s a comeback button.
How Kleya Plays
Early fight
Open with Special 1 to apply Undermine and get assists rolling.
Mid fight
Let her Turn Meter gains and crit pressure snowball. Focus Undermined targets to remove threats fast.
Clutch moment
Hold “Do or Die” for the right moment. If Luthen is low and the battle is slipping, this ability can completely reverse momentum.
Best Team Environment
Kleya wants a Rebel Fighter team, especially with Luthen Rael. She thrives in squads that spread debuffs and benefit from assists.
She also benefits from leaders that support Rebel Fighters and crit-based damage. In the Era of Andor structure, she is clearly designed as a central damage engine, not a side piece.
What She’s Not
She is not a standalone plug-and-play attacker. Her value scales with Rebel Fighter synergy and Undermine uptime.
She’s also not built for slow, grindy matches. Her design rewards aggressive tempo and calculated risk.
Final Take
Kleya Marki is one of the most mechanically interesting marquees in recent SWGOH eras. Between her Undermine engine, assist chains, and the high-risk, high-reward team reset mechanic, she brings both damage and tactical depth.
If you’re investing in the Era of Andor Rebels, she’s not optional — she’s one of the pillars.
