The event lets players earn cosmetics inspired by The Mandalorian, giving Apple Arcade’s island-based LEGO Star Wars adventure one last burst of beskar-flavored urgency before the timer runs out. Apple Arcade’s own social post says the event runs until April 30, with players able to earn themed cosmetics from the show in “The Way” event.

LEGO Star Wars: Castaways has always been a slightly odd little corner of Star Wars gaming. It is part social hub, part minifigure customization playground, part combat arena, and part “why am I suddenly very invested in my digital LEGO outfit?”
That makes The Mandalorian a natural fit.
The game has previously used themed events to bring in minifigure parts, vehicles, emotes, and other cosmetics from different parts of the Star Wars galaxy. The App Store update history for LEGO Star Wars: Castaways describes earlier Mandalorian content as letting players complete quests and earn minifigure parts based on the series, including the chance to dress up as favorite characters and even carry “an adorable little green creature” in a backpack.
Subtle? No.
Effective? Absolutely.
Tiny Armor, Big Deadline Energy
The current “The Way” event is especially useful for players who enjoy the customization side of Castaways. These are not galaxy-shattering unlocks. No one is saving the New Republic with a themed cosmetic jacket.
But that is exactly why these little events work. Star Wars games have always understood the appeal of dressing your character like they belong to a specific corner of the galaxy. Jedi robes, pilot helmets, Sith armor, clone gear, smuggler jackets, bounty hunter plates — half the fantasy is looking like you have a backstory and three unresolved side quests.
In LEGO form, that becomes even sillier and more charming.

If you are already playing LEGO Star Wars: Castaways, this is the day to make sure you have grabbed what you want from the event before it disappears. Limited-time cosmetics have a way of becoming annoying later, mostly because future-you will absolutely ask why present-you did not log in for ten minutes.
