SWTOR’s Digging Deeper Update Turns Four: What Still Matters Today

Four years ago today, Star Wars: The Old Republic launched Game Update 7.1, Digging Deeper. Released on August 2, 2022, the update arrived only months after Legacy of the Sith and had an important job: give players more endgame content, continue the Darth Malgus storyline, and restore some momentum after an expansion launch that had left the community wanting considerably more. It brought the R-4 Anomaly Operation, a new Manaan daily area, additional story content, gearing changes, interface improvements, and the return of Nar Shaddaa Nightlife.
