Star Wars Galaxies Beyond Launches a New Jedi Journey and Modern UI Scaling

Star Wars Galaxies may have officially closed in 2011, but nobody appears to have informed the people still rebuilding it. SWG Beyond has released Phase One of The Old Ways of the Force, one of the project’s largest progression systems to date. At the same time, the fan-run server is deploying a new client with UI scaling, inventory search, improved character organisation, and several long-overdue quality-of-life upgrades. It is a surprisingly ambitious update for an MMO old enough to remember when widescreen support counted as advanced technology.
