A new wave of clips is making the rounds claiming that Star Wars: First Assault — the cancelled LucasArts-era shooter — is now playable online. The current spark is a YouTube upload showcasing gameplay and describing the unreleased Xbox 360 build as “finally playable online,” plus a viral X post amplifying the claim. Before anyone starts yelling “Battlefront 3!” (again): First Assault wasn’t Battlefront 3 — but it’s part of that same weird lost era of Star Wars games where multiple projects were being explored and then evaporated when LucasArts shut down.
