The galaxy is buzzing once again as Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes rolls out its October 29th content update, and this one’s packed with fresh content, long-awaited fixes, and a few spooky surprises to close out the Halloween season. From a new kit reveal to bug fixes involving some of the game’s most powerful heroes, let’s dive into everything new in this week’s update.
Zuckuss Joins the Hunt
The biggest highlight of this update is the official kit reveal for Zuckuss, the legendary Gand Findsman and Force-sensitive Bounty Hunter.
This new Dark Side Tank and Leader synergizes heavily with 4-LOM and other Dark Side Bounty Hunters, bringing foresight mechanics, protection recovery, and mass assists to the faction.
Players can unlock Zuckuss through his Marquee Event, starting November 4th at 11 a.m. Pacific, with new abilities such as:
- Foreseen Strike – attacks twice when under Foresight
- Ensnaring Shot – stuns and reduces Accuracy
- Augury of Protection – taunts, cleanses, and grants Foresight to allies

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun – Halloween Event Returns
Halloween comes to Galaxy of Heroes with the cheekily named “Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun” event!
Players can expect themed missions, eerie encounters, and sweet rewards. Whether you’re collecting spooky gear or battling dark-side spirits, this event promises a fun (and slightly haunting) celebration for the community.
Vane Shards Now Farmable
Good news for character collectors: Vane shards are now farmable from Cantina Battles 3-B.
If you’ve been chasing this pirate-themed character, now’s your chance to finally bring him into your roster without waiting for event rotations. Time to spend that Cantina energy wisely!
Bugs and Adjustments
The dev team at Capital Games has once again tackled several gameplay quirks and character inconsistencies — some of which were pretty entertaining before being fixed:
- Captain Silvo Alignment Fix:
Silvo was Dark Side… but not technically Dark Side. He’s now correctly labeled as a Dark Side Unaligned Force User, making his allegiances properly complex (and lore-accurate). - Galactic Legend Ahsoka Tano Visibility Fix:
Ahsoka’s Ultimate abilities had achieved enlightenment — literally disappearing from the UI. This update ensures her abilities remain visible, because clarity is a Jedi virtue. - Admiral Raddus and Jyn Erso Revival Fix:
If Raddus and Jyn were revived simultaneously, he occasionally forgot Jyn was supposed to be “un-defeat-able.” Raddus now remembers his place — and Jyn keeps her resilience intact. - Order 66 Raid Fix:
A frustrating issue forced players to use Rescue when no Jedi were available. That’s now been corrected. You’re free to strike down your enemies in peace once again.
Cad Bane Kit Update – Gunslinger Gets a Buff
Everyone’s favorite hat-wearing outlaw just got a serious upgrade.
Cad Bane’s Basic ability – Gun Slinger has been improved to make him far more consistent in combat:
- Old Text:
“Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 65% chance to attack again. Inflict Accuracy Down for 2 turns. Gain 15% Turn Meter for each Critical Hit.” - New Text:
“Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 100% chance to attack again. Inflict Accuracy Down for 2 turns. Gain 15% Turn Meter for each Critical Hit.”
This tweak makes Cad Bane’s basic attack far more reliable, doubling his offensive efficiency — especially when modded for Crit Chance and Speed. Expect him to feel much smoother in Bounty Hunter and Scoundrel teams.
Final Thoughts
The October 29th update may not bring a new raid or territory battle, but it’s a strong quality-of-life patch filled with character polish, humor, and progression tweaks. Zuckuss’ arrival adds fresh depth to the Bounty Hunter faction, the Halloween event keeps things festive, and the Cad Bane buff will make longtime fans grin wider than a Hutt after payday.
With Galaxy of Heroes approaching its 10-year anniversary, it’s clear Capital Games is ramping up the excitement with new content, revamped characters, and community-driven events.
