Celebrate gaming milestones with achievements, trophies, live streaming, and a custom gaming-themed cake.

How To Celebrate Your Gaming Milestones

Many gamers just like to play, but if you are somebody who’s far into gaming, then you also want ways to celebrate your milestones. Paying attention to what you’re achieving and the enjoyment that you’re getting from your hobby is a great way to define your life and mark the passage of time.

But what should you be doing to celebrate your gaming milestones? Here are some ideas:

Screenshot your victory pose

The first place you might want to start is with screen-shotting your Victory pose. Creating these is a great idea for social media and allows you to really mark the achievement.

You can also look for ways to turn your victory pose into a meme, if you are in the habit of winning. People love memes on platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn, so feel free to add shots whenever the time is right.

Treat yourself to a custom-themed cake

If you’ve really made a big breakthrough or unlocked an achievement that hardly anybody else has, then you might want to order a custom cake decorated with game elements. For example, you can include pixels, controllers, your favorite character’s face, writing and words, whatever you want. There are all sorts of cake shops around the globe that will do this for you. Simply provide them with a brief, and they will get on with the design.

Go for celebrations

If you’ve been gaming for a set number of years, then you might want to go out for anniversary celebrations. These can be fun experiences that get you out of the office and into the real world so you can meet other people—perhaps gamers who are just like you. You could also take a partner with you.

Another thing you can do is share your achievements with other people via a screenshot. For example, you could post in-game trophies, achievement markers, or badges. Then you could distribute them in gaming communities or on online platforms. The more people who see your gaming achievements, the prouder you’ll feel of what you’ve done.

Start live streaming

You might also want to look into live-streaming your gaming. Becoming a live streamer and going live to celebrate can be a great way to mark a specific milestone or achievement that you’ve had. For example, you might have been gaming for 20 years and want to have a special 20-year anniversary, or you might host other viewers’ games as a treat if you have an audience. It’s really up to you.

Upgrade your setup

If you’ve discovered that you’re really into gaming, then you might want to upgrade your setup. Buying a new headset or controller can immerse you even more in the games that you’re playing. Plus, because you’re spending so much time gaming, it’s actually worth doing. You’re not wasting money because it’s one of your hobbies.

Replay old games

Finally, you could look at replaying some of your old games for fun. Just make sure that you crank up the difficulty since you’re now a veteran.
