The Power and Mystery of the Dark Saber: An In-Depth Look at the Iconic Star Wars Weapon

The dark saber is a weapon that is shrouded in mystery and legend within the Star Wars universe. It is a black-bladed lightsaber that was wielded by the first Mandalorian Jedi, Tarre Vizsla. The dark saber was created over a thousand years before the events of the Star Wars films, in a time when the Jedi Order was still young and exploring the possibilities of their powers. Tarre Vizsla was a member of the Jedi Order who hailed from the planet Mandalore, which was known for its warrior culture and martial prowess. Vizsla was able to harness the power of the Force and channel it into a weapon that was unlike any other lightsaber. The dark saber’s blade is unique in that it is black in color, rather than the typical blue or green of most lightsabers. This is due to the fact that the dark saber was created using…

What If the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy Had a Mature, Post-Modern Style?

Would the prequel trilogy have been better received by audiences? Let’s explore this alternate universe where the galaxy far, far away takes a turn towards the gritty and sophisticated. Episode I: The Phantom… Noir? Picture this: The Phantom Menace opens not with a lively pod race on Tatooine, but with Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn sipping martinis (shaken, not stirred) in a sleek, minimalist cantina. The tone is dark, the lighting is moody, and everyone’s dressed in sharp, tailored suits. Anakin is now a brooding child prodigy with a tragic backstory involving lost parents and a failed attempt at building a supercomputer. Jar Jar Binks? Forget the slapstick—he’s been reimagined as…

Star Wars Battlefront II – May 28th Patch – Release Notes

The guys over at DICE have a small patch releasing on May 28 which aims to address a selection of issues that they have found, but also makes changes to the current milestone requirements for some of the appearances, including Darth Maul’s Old master. The Devs are making changes to the appearance milestone requirements, and instead of requiring you to defeat 5,000 enemies with a specific hero, this can now be done for any hero on their respective side. This means that for Darth Maul’s Old Master appearance, you will no longer need to defeat 5,000 enemies as Darth Maul, but as any hero on the Dark Side. Defeating enemies as a Light Side hero will be required to unlock the Luke Farmboy and Princess Leia appearances. As a team, they would like to give a shout out to those who have already unlocked the Old Master Appearance, the Force…

Top 10 Ranking of the Villains in the Star Wars Universe

Whether it’s combing the desert for our heroes or speeding through a dense jungle planet, they’re there to take a beating and make the heroes look good. 9. Greedo While he may only have seconds of screen time, Greedo played a big part in making Han Solo one…

Star Wars Battlefront II – The BB Update & Age of Rebellion on the way

Here are the latest patch notes for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 INCOMING TRANSMISSIONWe’re back with more news and information on the next update for Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II. Back in December, we mentioned that both BB-8 and BB-9E would be coming to the game, and you also got a sneak-peek at them in the trailer we released. Known for his courage, BB-8 will play his part as an offensive hero. This will help balance out the light side, which currently has a support-oriented roster. With an Astromech joining the light side, it seems only fitting that the dark side should also get one. That’s where BB-9E comes into play. While BB-8’s bravery helps him charge into the battlefront, BB-9E is cold, calculating, and will play more of a support role, fitting in nicely with the dark side Hero roster. As January comes to a close, our attention turns to February and,…

Is Jedi: Fallen Order the Star Wars game we have all been waiting for? We certainly hope so. It’s definitely the game to follow on the Star Wars scene. We’ve written at length about Star Wars games here – past, present, and future – and one thing I personally hate is all the great Star Wars games that have been canceled over the years.
