The clearest sign that this is not just recycled nostalgia came from Sony itself. In the official PlayStation Store March 2026 top downloads chart, STAR WARS Battlefront II landed on the US/Canada PS4 list. That alone would be eyebrow-raising for a nearly decade-old game, but it gets better: the game also appeared in PlayStation’s January 2026 and February 2026 PS4 download charts too.
