Digital designer Wayne Dorrington produced the below graphic that uses only icons to retell George Lucas’ Star Wars: A New Hope.
For those already familiar with the plot, the graphic does a good job in presenting the film’s narrative in symbolic form. For instance, an X means “No”, a plus sign cues the introduction of characters and props, and important dialogs—“That’s no moon!”—are represented by speech bubbles on the respective characters.
