The Swim of Demise in the infamous Dead Forest of Kashyyyk is back, and it promises to be more deadly (and fun) than ever. So, polish your blasters, prep your nerves, and remember – only the strongest survive!

What is the Swim of Demise?

For those brave enough (or foolhardy enough), the Swim of Demise is a terrifying race through the murky waters of the Dead Forest, located in the Kkowir Forest instance of Kashyyyk. But this isn’t your average race. In true Star Wars: Galaxies fashion, you’re not just racing against fellow players – oh no, the waters are teeming with unspeakable horrors waiting to drag you down to your watery doom!

How Does It Work?

The objective is simple: swim for your life! Competitors will gather at the starting point, dive into the dark, dangerous waters, and race to the finish line. The catch? You must stay in the water the entire time – no mounts, no fancy buffs, and absolutely no leaving the water unless you’re okay with disqualification.

Along the way, you’ll need to dodge both your fellow racers and the terrifying creatures lurking below, all while trying to keep your cool (and your life). Only the bravest (or luckiest) will make it to the end!

Where is It?

The race takes place in the Dead Forest of Kashyyyk, one of the most treacherous areas in the galaxy. If you’ve never been, here’s the location:

Starting Point: /wp 310 302 (Near the Shadowweave Caverns)
Finish Line: /wp -387 -408 (Navigate from the green to the red location on your map)

Event Rules – Play Fair or Beware

To keep things fair and fun, the following rules will apply:

No buffs (this includes Heroic Sets).
No Terrain Negotiation clothing.
No abilities allowed during the race.
All racers must stay in the water the entire time.
No mounts – you’re swimming, not riding!

Disqualification awaits anyone who breaks these rules. Event staff will be monitoring everything, and screenshots will be taken to ensure everyone is playing by the rules.
