Cory Butler posted a tweet confirming that the Hypercrate of Shipment 1 Cartel Packs will be removed from the Cartel Market today. The Hypercrate contains 6 Crime Lord’s, 6 Blockade Runner’s, 6 Skip Tracer’s, and 6 Space Pirate’s packs and has the hefty price of 7680 Cartel Coins. Many people, especially subscribers, have been upset about patch 2.1. People are mad about this patch being a cartel market update only. But players are also forgetting that BioWare already announced how the coming two games updates is planed out. First, it’s important to know that 2.1 will not affect the cadence of our game update schedule. 2.1 was the second half of our Cartel Market implementation plan. So, do not expect to see this type of Market-driven update on a regular basis. This release was comprised almost entirely of cosmetic options that have no impact on combat balance or gameplay….
BioWare’s Cory Butler is host of this months Star Wars: The old republic insider. Mr Butler goes through all the upcoming things coming to the game in near future, including barber shop, new items on the cartel shop and the Cathar spices. Check it out below:
One more video was released yesterday. This time Corey Butler who is producer for Star Wars: The old Republic, gives some insights to the game. Corey gives a brief overview of SWTOR and in particular the voiced content of the game. Corey also talks about Raids/operations were he use the term “multi-party” – a new word I haven’t heard before from BioWare, but don’t give any further details on whether there will be multiple raid sizes like 5-man raids, 20-man raids etc. We also get a few words on personal starships, that will give us access to the galaxy map – very similar to the same system in Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 Check out the full video below:
