Remember Star Wars 1313? The gritty game we were all looking forward to that was unfortunately canceled before it ever had a chance to get off the ground? Well, there were a lot of rumors going around about this game. People were excited for it because it offered something very different from most Star Wars games up to that point. And a lot of people thought it was going to start Boba Fett (or a similar bounty hunter character). A screenshot that was allegedly shot from the game shows what a lot of us suspected – it may have been about Boba Fett. Shared on Reddit by LifeByTheSword, the screenshot definitely gives us the feel of Boba Fett. Other notable things from this screenshot: The graphics were really far ahead of their time. The game is so crisp and clean. The darkness in the background also has a dystopian feel to it….

ILMxLAB’s Star Wars: Vader Immortal Was Almost Something Different
So many Star Wars projects have started off one way, then ventured into another direction throughout the way. One such project is Star Wars: Vader Immortal. Speaking to Tested in an in-depth Making Of video, series director Ben Snow described how different the project was initiated. It would have been more passive and the players would not have embodied a character at all. Crazy, huh? “It was originally going to be a fly on the wall narrative where you essentially observe the goings on,” Snow explained. “And so the first prototype that I became involved in, we were essentially trying to grey box/proof out/pre-viz the first script that he [David S. Goyer] had written.” If you’ve been a longtime fan of VR technology then you might remember that ILMxLAB talked about Vader Immortal as far back as 2016. This left some fans wondering if it was going to get canned or…

Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes: State of the Galaxy – March 2020
The guys over at Capital games posted a another State of the Galaxy! Galactic Legends Rey and Kylo Ren are landing later this month so we want to share some final insights into the development of these characters and their events. Galactic Legends are a new type of character and we start them off with the culmination of the new trilogy – the Force dyad of Rey and Kylo Ren. Many of our strongest characters are released in quick events as bursts of excitement, however we also want to diversify our event experiences. By slowly revealing the requirements and leaving the events open (once you’ve met the requirements), these events serve as a long-term goal for veteran players to work towards. As we’ve mentioned, Galactic Legends unlock at 7 stars, but unlike many other events, you don’t need to reach the final tier of the event to achieve this. You’ll…
Why Does EA Keep Canceling Star Wars Games?
If you’ve been around our site for a while, you’ll know that we’ve written about quite a few anticipated Star Wars video games that were later canceled. Some were put to rest before they ever had the chance to be developed and others had us ready to purchase when they pulled the plug. One thing they all had in common: they left us disappointed. So, why does EA keep canceling Star Wars games? Well, it would seem they have different reasons for doing so. Since EA secured the publishing rights on Star Wars games from Disney, they have canceled at least three Star Wars games. The most recent one being the Battlefront spin-off. EA has given various reasons each time they cancel one of these anticipated games but the common thread seems to be timing. The latest Star Wars game, code-named “Viking” was rumored to be a Battlefront spin-off with…

Hunted also has a specific interaction with the Finalizer’s Unique ability, Two Steps Ahead, that provides a critical damage bonus when a First Order ally defeats a Hunted…
Jedi Fallen Order 2 Release Date Is Coming
And it may be sooner than you think. When EA relased Star Wars – Jedi: Fallen Order, they had a lot to prove. According to Kotaku‘s report, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is one of two Star Wars games still in active development at EA. EA’s latest financial call showed that the game was a greater success than they had anticipated. “Sales of Star Wars — Jedi: Fallen Order significantly beat our expectations,” CFO Blake Jorgensen said. “We had forecast 6 million to 8 million units for the fiscal year, but to hit the high end of that…
