Hamleys has just given Star Wars shoppers one more reason to “accidentally” end up on Regent Street.
The famous London toy store has opened a new permanent Marvel and Star Wars Fan Zone on the fourth floor of its flagship store, timed neatly ahead of Star Wars Day. According to Toy World’s report on the new Fan Zone, the space opened on April 27 and is designed as an immersive retail area for Marvel and Star Wars fans.
Mando, Grogu, and Retail Danger
The Star Wars section includes a Mandalorian-inspired hideout with a layered archway backdrop and an existing LEGO sculpture of Mando and Grogu. In other words, Hamleys has discovered the oldest trick in modern Star Wars retail: put Grogu somewhere photogenic and watch wallets start sweating.
The range includes LEGO sets, Hasbro figures, premium lightsabers and helmets, Jazwares figures and vehicles, Ravensburger games, Lexibook electronics, collectibles, and more. So yes, this is absolutely the sort of place where someone walks in “just to look” and leaves carrying a lightsaber box with suspicious confidence.
Just in Time for Star Wars Day
The timing is no accident. Hamleys’ own What’s On page lists Star Wars activity on the fourth floor, including Jedi Training and other family-friendly experiences at the Regent Street store.
It also lands while The Mandalorian & Grogu is building toward its 2026 theatrical release, making the Mando-and-Grogu focus feel especially well aimed.
A Smart Little Star Wars Stop in London
This is not a movie trailer, game announcement, or giant Lucasfilm reveal. But it is exactly the kind of real-world Star Wars presence that keeps the franchise visible between major releases.
A permanent Star Wars zone inside Hamleys gives tourists, families, collectors, and casual shoppers a simple reason to engage with the galaxy in person. And for a brand built on toys, characters, and “I don’t need this, but look at it,” that still matters.
Hamleys has opened the doors.
Grogu is waiting upstairs.
Your wallet has been warned.
