Pedro Pascal Still Wants More Mando and Grogu

Pedro Pascal is not talking like someone ready to put the helmet away for good.

With The Mandalorian and Grogu bringing Din Djarin and his tiny green chaos apprentice to the big screen, Pascal has made it clear that he still sees more road ahead for Star Wars’ most famous clan of two.

Speaking in a new CBR interview clip, Pascal said he sees “a next chapter” for the pair, whether that happens on the big screen or the small screen. That is not an official announcement, obviously. Lucasfilm has not suddenly dropped a secret trilogy, a Disney+ season, and a Grogu holiday special into our laps.

But it is still the kind of quote that tells you something important: the actor at the center of this whole beskar-covered machine does not sound finished.

The Clan of Two Still Has Mileage

The appeal of Mando and Grogu has always been simple, but weirdly durable.

One heavily armored bounty hunter. One tiny Force-sensitive child. A galaxy full of people who would very much like to make their lives more complicated.

That formula carried The Mandalorian from Disney+ breakout hit to theatrical Star Wars project. Now, with The Mandalorian and Grogu officially listed by StarWars.com as a big-screen New Republic-era adventure, the question is no longer whether these characters can survive outside streaming.

The question is what they become next.

Pascal’s comments matter because they point toward flexibility. He is not framing Mando and Grogu as a one-format story. Big screen, small screen, another adventure, another chapter. The important part is the duo.

Star Wars Needs Characters That Can Travel

That is probably the smartest thing Lucasfilm has with Mando and Grogu right now.

They can fit almost anywhere.

They can carry a monster-of-the-week adventure. They can wander into New Republic politics. They can collide with Imperial remnants. They can sell toys by simply standing near a spaceship and looking expensive. It is a very specific skill set, but Star Wars has built empires on less.

Their current theatrical move also comes at a moment where Star Wars is still figuring out how its TV success translates back into cinema. Our recent coverage of The Mandalorian and Grogu’s Disney+ momentum already showed that the characters still have pull outside the weekly episode cycle.

And now Pascal is openly hoping the story keeps going.

Not an Announcement, But Definitely a Signal

To be clear, this is not confirmation of The Mandalorian Season 4, a second movie, or any specific follow-up.

It is an actor expressing hope.

But in modern Star Wars, hope from Pedro Pascal carries a little extra weight. Din Djarin and Grogu are among the few newer-era Star Wars creations that feel instantly portable, familiar, and still open-ended.

The helmet can stay on. The helmet can come off. Grogu can coo at something dangerous. The galaxy can keep throwing problems at them.

Apparently, Pascal is fine with that.

And honestly, so is the brand.
