SWGOH Is Sending Eligible Players 30,000 Crystals After Cassian Compensation Change

That is not a typo. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is sending 30,000 Crystals to eligible players after changing its Cassian compensation plan.

Capital Games confirmed in its official Update on Cassian Compensation that the original make-good tied to the Cassian situation has been replaced with a much simpler reward: a very large pile of Crystals.

What Changed?

The earlier plan, outlined in a previous Hotfix Update + Compensation Update, included 3,000 Crystals and Episode Pass Plus access for eligible players connected to the Cassian (Undercover) issue.

That has now changed.

Instead, eligible players are getting 30,000 Crystals sent directly to their inbox.

In SWGOH terms, that is not a small apology. That is “suddenly opening the game very carefully” money.

Why 30,000 Crystals Matters

Crystals are the most flexible kind of compensation Capital Games could offer. Players can use them for energy refreshes, shipments, gear, signal data, event prep, or whatever roster emergency is currently shouting from the Holotables.

That flexibility is the important part. Pass Plus access has value, but Crystals let players decide what they actually need.

Some will save them.

Some will spend them carefully.

Some will immediately make a decision they describe as “strategic” after the fact.

Not Everyone Gets It

The big caveat is eligibility.

This is not a global May gift for every account. Capital Games says the reward is going to eligible players, so if your inbox does not suddenly glow with 30,000 Crystals, that is probably why.

The timing lands during a busy SWGOH month, with the game already running its May the 4th celebration rewards and the ongoing Extra Life Charity Events 2026.

Still, for affected players, this is a major compensation shift — and a much cleaner one than the original plan.

The only real challenge now is not spending 30,000 Crystals like a Sith with no long-term plan.
