Now SWTOR PTS: First look at the Mercenary, Powertech, Juggernaut, and Marauder Combat Styles!

BioWare just informed that players now can test and give initial feedback on the planned updated Mercenary, Powertech, Juggernaut, and Marauder Combat Styles on the Public Test Server (PTS). Note that the Jedi Guardian, Sentinel, Sniper, Operative, Assassin, and Sorcerer Combat Styles are still available for players to experience on PTS.  In the Sith Warrior and Bounty Hunter’s current state, there is quite a bit to learn and memorize–you need to understand active abilities, passive modifiers, selectable utilities, and how they all work together. Our goal is to make these relationships clearer and easier to understand, while also ensuring that the class retains its identity.  To achieve these goals, we are identifying key aspects of the Mercenary, Powertech, Juggernaut, and Marauder to understand how players both perceive and utilize the classes’ abilities. Here’s another Star Wars story from The Scoundrel’s Cantina. It was first published back in Dec of 2016, but if you missed it back then, you can still give it a watch. We highly recommend any of these videos from the Scoundrel’s Cantina. They really know their Star Wars stuff, and the videos are well made. They’re entertaining, and very informative as you are sure to learn something new in every one you watch, even if you’re already a super fan. SWTOR: Class Changes: Fury Marauder / Concentration Sentinel

Here are the changes for Fury and Concentration coming in Star Wars: The old Republic game update 5.4. Note: All changes below are currently in development and are subject to change before being released. Marauder Fury Increased the damage done by Bloody Slashes by 35% Sentinel Concentration Increased the damage done by Burning Slices by 35% DevNotes: The Fury / Concentration discipline only needed a small boost to bring it up to its target DPS, so increasing the damage dealt by Bloody Slashes / Burning Slices was all it took to do the trick.

Star Wars: The old Republic won’t see any changes to Marauder and Sentinel with game update 3.1, but rather 3.1.1. While this is not news worthy in it self, we find it quite interesting That Eric Musco posted this update.  BioWare does not usually provide set patch dates for specific class changes, but there is a first time for everything I guess.
