SWTOR Ranked Mission Rewards, 5.6.1, and beyond!

Eric Musco just informed the SWTOR community that BioWare will be making changes to Ranked PvP Mission Rewards in 5.6.1. If you didn’t catch the patch notes for today’s game update, you can see them here. Hey folks, There have been some questions about the bug related to Solo Ranked Missions in that they are not giving anything beyond CXP and Credits. There was actually two bugs related to PvP Missions, but more on that in a second. As of 5.6.1 (coming live soon) Solo Ranked Missions will be rewarding Unassembled Components and crafting materials as intended. This was missed in the patch notes but I did verify that it is fixed in the patch. They still aren’t giving out Season 9 tokens, but that will be addressed in the future. The other bug present in the PvP Mission rewards is that instead of giving players one crafting lockbox which coincides…

SWTOR: changes to Daily Missions in 5.6 and 5.6.1

Eric Musco just updated the community on some changes to daily missions in game update 5.6 and 5.6.1 Hey folks, Ok, let’s talk about what changed in 5.6 and what is changing in 5.6.1 since they are tied together. 5.6 – In this Game Update we removed the Galactic Command interface from the game along with changing Group Finder to Activity Finder. As a part of this change some Missions were removed from the game as they were explicitly tied into either Galactic Command or Group Finder respectively. This is why the Daily Mission to send you to the those areas is no longer there. The weekly is intended to be the “wrapper” Mission for all of the dailies in that area, which is a change we made coming off of the “bugged” CXP values previously. This was a part of the steps we were taking to re-balance CXP across…

SWTOR Class missions will not be removed or altered with KoTFE

Eric Musco just clarified that you don’t have to worry about class missions from level 1-50 They won’t change with Knights of the fallen empire Class missions removed/altered? | 09.03.2015, 03:10 PM Quote: Originally Posted by Sigiles First off, forgive me if this is a stupid question. Say I start a Trooper after the launch of KotFE.. Will that Trooper go through the Trooper storyline that has always been there since launch? Again, forgive me if this is a stupid question.. But I heard something that worried me… Hey Sigiles, If you start a brand new level 1 character, you…

Guide to End Game Stuff

I just can’t say enough how appreciative I am of Dulfy from Dulfy.net and all the great game content she brings us for SWTOR. So she does all the things I want to do but don’t have the time to. And now, she’s done it again with a great list if leveling heroics, bonus series and their associated rewards. Empire list: http://dulfy.net/2012/05/13/heroic-quests-bonus-series-and-their-rewardsempire/ Republic list: http://dulfy.net/2012/05/13/heroic-quests-bonus-series-and-their-rewardsrepublic/ She also explains as follows: For every quest there are 1) Torhead tooltips for the mission so you can see the steps or get more details. 2) Name of the NPC to start the quest (first name recorded only) 3) Location of the NPC (Both the area and the exact coordinates) 4) General and class specific rewards. As you can see, this is a very useful resource so bookmark the URL that applies to you (or both if you play both sides) and refer to…

Everything you ever need to know about Itemization and Crafting in TOR

Dssurge from reddit urged us to share this TOR Itemization and Crafting info. The original thread can be found here, and has some additional information in the comments section. Here is a run down of Itemization and Crafting in TOR Basic stuff: All characters in TOR use one primary stat of Aim, Cunning, Strength or Willpower. All primary stats give 1% crit for every 140 (at level 50) Aim gives 0.2 ranged damage Strength gives 0.2 melee damage Cunning gives 0.2 tech damage Will power gives 0.2 force damage Endurance gives 10 HP per point. Your primary stat will always give either [Ranged + Tech] or [Melee + Force], so a Trooper will get a tech bonus from Cunning, and a Smuggler will get a ranged damage bonus from Aim in addition to the bonuses they already get from their primary stat. This causes Smugglers to do more damage with Weapon attacks,…
