MTSBWY: “just dip it in carbonite!”
“Is your neighbor’s domesticated canine keeping you up at night? Well, just dip it in carbonite!” “”A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…there were infomercials!” Check out this funny video by The Gamer Chick that shares some great infomercials from the Star Wars universe. I know if I came across the “Home Carbonite Kit” while flipping the channels one night that I’d definitely buy one! It features a geek-filled cast: Bonnie Burton, Adrianne Curry, Grant Imahara and more. Enjoy!

Harrison Ford Star Wars Episode 7 Contract Negotiations
These sketches are made by my good friend David Ward and his team over at HUMORdy.com HUMORdy are a collection of comedians, actors, and filmmakers from Austin, TX. and they have quite a bit of funny material on youtube already. Check out there youtube channel here if you want a good laugh. Disney bought Lucasfilm for over 4 billion dollars. They immediately announced plans to do a new trilogy of Star Wars films. This is the story of the heroic Disney executives assigned the task of getting Harrison Ford to sign on as Han Solo in the new Star Wars movies. It took they guys about 5 days to write the scripts, one day to shoot all three, then probably two weeks to edit them. They don’t currently have any more Star Wars parodies planned, but I’m sure we’ll do more in the future. Remember to follow these guys on Facebook.
Occupy SWTOR- Angry F2P Gamers Protest F2P Limitations
Something is asunder in SWTOR, at least that’s what one user who took this screenshot would have us to think. They protested by blocking GTN mailboxes and sending out this message “Occupying GTN mailbox for 2 more quick bars for free to play players!” One major downfall to their plan? All you’re doing is irritating your fellow players. This is not the way to get your way with BioWare but it might be a decent way to get a ban- temporary at very least. Players used to do this in WoW all the time until Blizz started banning for it and putting it more mailboxes all over the major cities so it hardly matters if one idiot wants to get on a huge mount, drink a firewater and sit on the mailbox. But what we can admire from these SWTOR “riots” is their determination and willingness to stand up for…
“Star Wars Episode VII” Audition Tapes
Following up on Lisa’s Star Wars 7 Rumor Roundup from yesterday, Conan O’Brien has been running these Episode VII ‘audition tapes’ from various directors. Some of them are extremely hilarious, yet I would love to see how Lars Von trier would do a Star Wars movie. Kevin Smith: Woody Allen: Wes Anderson Michael Moore: Todd Philip and my favorite the Infamous horror director Tom Six, make of one of the most absurde movies ever The Human Centipede:
MTSBWY: Star Wars orchestra flash-mob
Now here is something you don’t’ see every day: An orchestra flash mob in the Wallrafplatz, in the center of Cologne in Germany. I have always been a huge fan of flashmobs, but I have never seen a full out orchestral flash mobs — that play the Star Wars Theme. I also love that they brought both harp and timpani. That’s dedication. We can only hope they show up at next July’s Celebration Europe II oh… And as a bonus video, I give you the newest Star Wars spoof from our old friend OneMinuteGalactica – The Awkward Awards. Yes, Everything is so less regal and majestic when the music cuts out:

MTSBWY: What If Yoda Spoke Normally?
The ‘Star Wars’ universe is riddle with mysteries. Did Han shoot first? How come Chewbacca doesn’t get a medal at the end of ‘A New Hope?’ And how come Yoda insists on speaking in semi-reverse order? It’s hard not to see master Yoda as a very short font of wisdom throughout the Star Wars films, but when his unique speech pattern is made to fit traditional rules, suddenly he becomes one seriously creepy little dude.
