MCM London Comic Con has landed a genuinely strong Star Wars animation lineup for its May 2026 show, with a full group of The Clone Wars voice actors now confirmed for the weekend. The event will run from Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24 at ExCeL London, and all three days will feature Matt Lanter, James Arnold Taylor, Nika Futterman, Catherine Taber, Dee Bradley Baker, and Ashley Eckstein. That is not just one nice guest announcement. That is basically MCM looking at Clone Wars fans and saying, “Yeah, this one’s for you.”
This Is a Proper Clone Wars Reunion, Not Just a Random Guest Add-On
That lineup covers a lot of the core emotional wiring of The Clone Wars. You have Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Dee Bradley Baker as the clone army and Captain Rex, Nika Futterman as Asajj Ventress, and Catherine Taber as Padmé Amidala. That is the kind of group booking that instantly makes the show feel less like “some Star Wars guests are attending” and more like a mini Clone Wars event inside a larger con.
And honestly, that matters. A lot of convention announcements are one good guest plus a lot of “well, maybe if you already planned to be there.” This one is different. The Clone Wars has one of the most loyal fanbases in the entire franchise, and that fanbase tends to show up hard when the right people are in the room. This is an inference, but it is a pretty safe one given how often this cast gets treated like Star Wars royalty on the con circuit.
Fans Will Be Able to Do More Than Just See Them on a Poster
The good part is that this is not being framed as a blink-and-you-miss-it appearance. Fantha Tracks says the cast will be there for autographs, photo ops, and more, while Jedi News notes they are expected across all three days of the event. Supporting event listings also show group Star Wars photo-op options for the six-person lineup, which strongly suggests MCM is treating this as one of the bigger guest attractions on the schedule rather than a throwaway booking tucked into the corner of Hall Whatever.
That is good news for attendees, because a cast lineup like this is the kind of thing that can get messy fast if it is not planned properly. The fact that they are spread across the full weekend at least gives fans a fighting chance to meet the guests they actually came for instead of spending the entire convention trapped in one giant queue with a dead phone battery and a very expensive coffee. That last bit is, admittedly, just convention realism.
MCM Clearly Knows Animation Fans Will Show Up for This
There is also a bigger convention takeaway here. The Clone Wars is not some nostalgic side dish anymore. It is one of the core pillars of modern Star Wars fandom. Ahsoka, Rex, Ventress, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padmé — these animated versions of the characters are not second-tier to a huge chunk of the audience. They are the versions people grew up with, argued about, quoted, memed, cried over, and built entire shelves around. So when a con lands this many of the voices behind them at once, it is not just fan service. It is good business.
And honestly, MCM timing this for a full weekend in late May makes it feel even bigger. This is not a tiny regional stop or a one-panel one-off. It is London, it is ExCeL, and it is a cast lineup that hits just about every major nerve Clone Wars fans still have. Which is to say: all of them.
If You’re a Clone Wars Fan, This One Is Easy to Sell
Not every convention story needs a massive analysis attached to it. Sometimes the pitch is just obvious. If you love The Clone Wars, and if meeting some of the people most responsible for making that series what it was sounds appealing, then MCM London 2026 just got a lot more interesting. Fantha Tracks and Jedi News both have the guest list, and unless MCM suddenly decides to add literally the ghost of George Lucas riding a loth-wolf into the building, this is going to be one of the stronger Star Wars convention draws on the calendar.
