Hasbro’s Star Wars Fanstream Went Heavy on Gaming, Clones, and Deep-Cut Chaos

Hasbro just dropped one of those Star Wars Fanstreams where collectors open the tab casually and then leave five minutes later questioning their storage space, bank account, and emotional attachment to plastic clone troopers.

The latest Hasbro Pulse Star Wars Fanstream brought a serious pile of reveals across The Black Series, The Vintage Collection, convention exclusives, mini helmets, and more. But for Star Wars gaming fans, the real headline is obvious: Knights of the Old Republic and The Old Republic both got meaningful Black Series love.

That is not a small thing. That is shelf validation.

KOTOR and SWTOR Get Black Series Attention

The gaming reveals are the ones that hit hardest for our corner of the galaxy.

Hasbro revealed a Black Series Mission Vao & Carth Onasi 2-pack inspired by Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, giving the classic BioWare RPG another proper collector nod. That is exactly the sort of release that makes long-time KOTOR fans suddenly act normal while absolutely not acting normal.

Even better for SWTOR players, Satele Shan and a Republic Trooper from Star Wars: The Old Republic are also joining The Black Series. Satele comes with her double-bladed lightsaber, while the Republic Trooper includes a hefty blaster cannon. Flickering Myth’s roundup also notes the KOTOR set and SWTOR figures among the major Black Series reveals from the Fanstream.

For a game that has been running since 2011, SWTOR still has far too little mainstream shelf presence. So yes, seeing Satele Shan in The Black Series feels like a small victory for everyone who has spent years explaining that “no, The Old Republic is not just KOTOR 3, but also please don’t ask how many alts I have.”

Clone Collectors Are Eating Again

The Black Series also went hard on clone-era reveals.

Hasbro showed off a Clone Commando inspired by Star Wars Battlefront II, plus Clone Commander Doom, Clone Commander Thorn, and a 501st ARF Trooper with AT-RT from The Clone Wars. The AT-RT set is especially dangerous for collectors, because vehicles plus clones have a way of turning “I’ll just buy one” into “I appear to have built a small military installation.”

The Clone Commando being tied to Battlefront II is another nice gaming-adjacent win. Between KOTOR, SWTOR, and Battlefront II, Hasbro clearly knows that Star Wars gaming nostalgia is not just alive — it is fully armed and browsing pre-orders.

The Vintage Collection Goes Weird in the Best Way

The Vintage Collection side is also stacked, and delightfully strange.

Reveals include Anakin Skywalker, Clone Trooper Commander, Bodhi Rook, Plo Koon, Luuke Skywalker, and a Geonosian Warriors army-building pack. Pre-orders for several of these begin May 4 at 1 p.m. ET, with many items expected in Summer 2026.

Yes, Luuke. With two u’s. The clone of Luke Skywalker from The Last Command, grown from Luke’s severed hand because Legends operated with the calm restraint of a spice-addled cloning technician.

That is the sort of reveal that makes old Expanded Universe fans sit up immediately. For years, Legends collectors have had to survive on crumbs, novels, memory, and occasional Thrawn-adjacent miracles. A Vintage Collection Luuke is not just a figure. It is a weird little plastic apology letter from the 1990s.

SDCC Gets Anakin vs. Ventress

Hasbro also revealed a Vintage Collection Anakin Skywalker & Asajj Ventress two-pack tied to San Diego Comic-Con, priced at $51.99 according to Jedi News’ Fanstream breakdown. The set is based on their memorable clash from Genndy Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars microseries, which remains one of the most stylish pieces of Star Wars animation ever produced.

That is a smart convention exclusive. It hits animation fans, prequel fans, Ventress fans, and the growing crowd of collectors who have quietly decided that the 2003 Clone Wars deserves much more respect than it usually gets.

Maul, Mini Helmets, and More Collector Bait

The Fanstream also follows closely after Hasbro’s CCXP Mexico reveals, including the Black Series Force FX Elite Maul Electronic Lightsaber based on Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, a Black Series Imperial Remnant Warlord & Polar Mouse Droid set from The Mandalorian & Grogu, and The Vintage Collection Devon Izara.

That Maul saber is particularly notable because it connects directly to the upcoming animated Maul – Shadow Lord series, while Devon Izara gives Hasbro another new-canon character ready before many viewers have even met her properly.

It is very 2026 Star Wars collecting: one foot in nostalgia, one foot in upcoming Disney+ material, and both feet standing on your wallet.

The Big Takeaway: Hasbro Knows the Gaming Shelf Matters

The most interesting thread in this Fanstream is not just the number of reveals. It is the spread.

KOTOR. SWTOR. Battlefront II. Legends. Clone Wars. Rogue One. The Mandalorian & Grogu. Maul: Shadow Lord. Hasbro is not treating Star Wars collecting as one simple movie-line nostalgia machine anymore. It is pulling from the full ecosystem.

That is especially good news for Star Wars gaming fans.

For years, the games have been central to how people experience the galaxy, from Knights of the Old Republic to The Old Republic, Battlefront, and beyond. You can see how wide that history gets in our complete list of all Star Wars games ever made, but the point here is simple: gaming characters deserve shelf space too.

This Fanstream got that right.

Mission Vao, Carth Onasi, Satele Shan, a Republic Trooper, and a Battlefront II Clone Commando all in one reveal cycle?

That is not just collector bait.

That is a very specific attack on people with excellent taste and limited display space.
