Disneyland Paris may be getting a Star Wars land.
Yes. Again.
A new rumor claims Disney is considering an expansion behind Discoveryland, possibly built around an original attraction featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu.
There is no official announcement. No concept art. No construction date. Not even a suspicious fence with the word “Imagineering” printed on it.
So for now, this remains a rumor.
But it is a rumor with history behind it, which is usually where Disneyland Paris stories become interesting.
A Mandalorian Attraction Behind Discoveryland
According to the latest speculation, the proposed attraction could become the centerpiece of a smaller Star Wars area connected to Discoveryland.
Earlier versions of the rumor have suggested a fast-moving ride, perhaps using technology similar to TRON Lightcycle Run. That has naturally led to ideas involving speeder bikes, Imperial chases, and Grogu pressing the one button he has specifically been told not to touch.
None of that is confirmed.
The location, however, makes sense.
Discoveryland already contains Star Tours: The Adventures Continue and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. Din Djarin and Grogu have also appeared in the park, so they would hardly be arriving in unexplored territory.

At the moment, it simply feels like several Star Wars attractions happen to live near one another.
Disneyland Paris Has Tried This Before
Disney previously announced a Star Wars area for the park now known as Disney Adventure World.
It was meant to arrive alongside the Marvel and Frozen expansions.
Marvel opened.
Frozen moved forward.
Star Wars quietly disappeared from the artwork, as though somebody had performed a Jedi mind trick on the entire project.
A Lion King land was later announced, while the original Star Wars plans drifted into that special Disney category best described as “something we no longer discuss.”
That is why every new Paris rumor arrives with the same unavoidable phrase:
Here we go again.
Mando and Grogu Are the Obvious Choice
Disney is already pushing the two characters heavily across its parks.
In 2026, they were added to a new mission for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in California and Florida. We covered the update when Smugglers Run became a Mandalorian and Grogu experience.
A Paris attraction would reportedly go further by being designed around them from the beginning.
The logic is not difficult to understand.
The Mandalorian brings the spaceships, chases, monsters, and dramatic music.
Grogu brings the entire gift shop.
It is a remarkably efficient division of labor.
Do Not Book the Hotel Yet
The idea is plausible. The location is sensible. Disney is already using the characters in its parks.
But there is still no confirmed attraction, budget, construction schedule, or opening date.
Disneyland Paris has had a Star Wars land on the drawing board before, and nothing came from it except some very attractive illustrations.
Perhaps this time Paris will finally receive its own corner of the galaxy.
Or perhaps we will be discussing the same rumor again in two years, now involving Ahsoka, three drones, and a mysterious building site behind Star Tours.
