Star Wars Battlefront 2 – Event Calendar – OCTOBER

Here is a list of some of the upcoming events for October in Star Wars: Star Wars Battlefront II

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have 16 Star Wars™ heroes and villains fighting on the same battlefront, at the same time?

Well, either way, you’ll find out soon!

A few weeks back, we piloted the initiative of in-game special events with the Vehicle Weekend, temporarily reducing the Battle Points needed for vehicles. Moving into October, we’ve done some additional back-end fiddling and twiddling, opening up even more possibilities and Star Wars Battlefront™ II extravaganza!

Let’s dig in to the special events you can look forward to in October.

October 5-7: Battle Point Event – Heroes Unleashed

In Galactic Assault, the amount of heroes is normally locked at two per team in the first phase, and four per team for the following phases. In the Heroes Unleashed event, we’re removing this limit, making all eight heroes on each side available from the get-go.

Additionally, we’re applying a 75% Battle Points discount on heroes, meaning that players will get their hands on them much faster. Just imagine 16 heroes and villains clashing on the battlefront at the same time, pulling off their devastating abilities.

This one’s going to be wild, folks.

October 12-14: Fast Spawn Event

For this event, we’re reducing the spawn timer to one second. Which means that you’ll respawn almost instantly when you’re eliminated. Coupled with the improved Squad System in Galactic Assault and Strike, we’re expecting some unprecedented, frantic action.

Will it be unbalanced? Probably. Will it be fun? We think so! Keep in mind that some events are highly experimental, and make sure to give your feedback in the forums once the event is live.

October 19-21: Battle Point Event – Reinforcements

Similar to the Heroes Unleashed event, here, we’re increasing the number of Enforcers available, and at a 75% Battle Points discount, too.

It’s all about seizing the opportunity and getting some extensive Wookiee Warrior and other Enforcer playtime in this one.

October 26-31: Halloween Event

For Halloween, we’re playing on maps with available night-time settings switched on, namely Mos Eisley, Endor, Kashyyyk, and Naboo. Adding further to the cozy-spooky Halloween feel is the Cloning Facility on Kamino, haunted by a violent ocean storm. The atmospheric Death Star II and Jabba’s Palace are thrown into the mix as well for good measure.

And as if that wasn’t enough, we’re topping it all up with a Double XP weekend between October 26-28!

In other words, a perfect opportunity to trick your foes from the cover of darkness and treat your collection to some upgrades.

October 31 – November 4: Clone Wars-Era Playlists

To celebrate the October 30 arrival of General Grievous – the infamous droid general leading the Separatists during the Clone Wars – to Star Wars Battlefront II, we’re offering dedicated Clone Wars-era playlists for Heroes vs. Villains and Hero Showdown for a limited time.

The Clone Wars-era playlists will be accessible via a main menu tile.
