SWTOR Art- Photoshopped Chiss and Mirialan
We love seeing Star Wars and SWTOR art of all types and we also love sharing it with you because we know our readers appreciate it as much as us. We stumbled across these really cool Photoshop tiles shared to Reddit by Florixia and wanted to bring them to you. She also explains a little about how she did the photos: “That jacket was just a white jacket I had that I photoshopped the colors on. Most of it is photoshopped besides the actual clothing. I had some makeup on by not this heavy” We’re impressed. They’re great photos and we’d love to see her do more. What about you? Do you have any similar SWTOR-inspired art? Have you seen some great SWTOR or Star Wars Photoshops or cosplay, or any type of art you want to share with us? Lay it on us!
SWTOR and KOTOR Cosplay
We saw a post from Tosche Station on their Cosplay Monday that really caught our eye because we love cosplay, especially when it’s about SWTOR or KOTOR: Welcome back to another edition of Cosplay Monday where we try and brighten the start of your week with some of the awesome costumes we’ve seen around the internet! This week, we’re featuring another set of costumes from Knights of the Old Republic since today is it’s 10th Birthday. Check out these cool Visas Marr and Darth Nihilus costumes from Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords by Sakara and her friend. Not only does the National Space Centre in Leicester make a pretty perfect setting for a KOTOR shoot but the costumes look great! Awesome job! We are super fans of cosplay, especially when it comes with a Star Wars theme so we’re real thankful to Tosche Station for helping us find Sakara,- costumer, alt-model and makeup…
Impressive Amateur Darth Malgus Cosplay
In a display that many might call too amazing to be “cosplay” we have an impressive Darth Malgus costume test. The nearly 4-minute video uploaded to YouTube shows us the process in fast motion as well as some great Darth Malgus posting with additional CGI rendering. It looks like something right out of a movie promo, honestly. “This is the first full test try on for a Darth Malgus costume. Made entirely from scratch by myself at our workshop in Ireland and filmed on a ‘Red MX’ camera by my good friend Kamil Krawczak. These film services are available from info@kamilphotography.com. Please contact Kamil for a quote” And if you think that’s cool, you’ll have fun watching the leg test video: But this isn’t the only costume he’s made. In fact, he has several and looks like he makes a full time hobby/career of this in his workshops in Ireland….
SWTOR Cosplay Comicbook
It’s time for another feature of SWTOR Cosplay swagger! This one is a special treat that has been out there for a while but most of us never even knew about it. It’s short, so take your time appreciating all the work that went into it, from costume design, backdrop, photography, post-production effects, etc, etc. In my opinion this is total genius and something to learn from for all Cosplayers. With that being said … We present you Issue One of Star Wars: The Old Republic – Arandani Comic: First Encounter, by Arandani Studios. But before all that, we flashback to Captain Kadd Aradan doing a drop on Ord Mantell moments right before the ambush. That’s all for now. A very enticing introduction, with blasters, double bladed lightsabers , Cathers, Sith Inquisitors and Scoundrels. What more can you ask for? More issues? Hell yeah! I really hope they make more,…
Global SWTOR Cosplay Swag
What’s up everyone out in the Star Wars diaspora! We here at SWTORStrategies have previously brought to your attention some epic SWTOR Cosplay models bringing the vision of SWTOR to real life, with menacing smiles, banging blasters and deadly lightsabers! Legendary SWTOR journalist Lisa Mason, wrote these previous articles on two cosplay masters, who brought excellent renditions of Grand Master Satele Shan to planet Earth. Shanoa Abby Dark-Star But these aren’t the only two who did the work for costume design, photo shoots and even some post image production effects. Today, we’re going to share some of those masterpieces which come from numerous countries like Spain, France, New Zealand, the United States and the Netherlands. I’m going to have to look deeper into Japan’s Cosplay movement, because I know I missed some of their work. Though I don’t believe SWTOR was ever released in Japanese. If you find yourself impressed,…
Star Wars: The Old Republic Cosplay
As we await the December 20th release of SWTOR, we look for new ways to entertain and occupy ourselves. We are constantly on the lookout for really cool Star Wars and SWTOR stuff to pass on to you, our dear readers, and this is a pretty cool find. Spanish cosplayers Shanoa and Erikku-kun made themselves as Satele Shan and Sith Pureblood and it’s some of the best, realistic cosplay we’ve seen on SWTOR so far. Shanoa also said that she has been lucky to find a fabric that looks pretty similar to the original one. The cool blue lightsaber was made by their friend Obi. Shanoa says, “I really like the Star Wars TOR trailers and I’m looking forward to playing this game.” You and me both girl! (Source: Deviantart.com)
