With an increasing number of people relocating to this marvelous city, understanding the associated costs of a pod can be essential for efficient planning. The advantage of this system is that you pay for the time taken, ensuring that there are no hidden charges. However, it also means that being organized and efficient can play a significant role in keeping costs down. SWTOR Season 5 Gold Tier Reward Granted
All Players who reached Season 5 Gold Tier in Star Wars; The old Republic, will get another Nexu mount as compensation. Season 5 Gold Tier Reward Granted | 08.18.2015, 04:32 PM Hey folks! As we mentioned before, with Patch 3.3.1 the plan was to issue each Season 5 Gold tier PvPer a new reward which would be exclusive to only them and would be a bit of a make-good for the issues that occurred in granting the reward previously. We wanted to make sure to give you something which is comparable to your previous Gold tier reward but still something special. So when maintenance is over today Season 5 Gold Tier characters should have a different and new Nexu mount in their mailbox. This Nexu shares the same model as the Gold tier mount but with a new, traditional colorization pattern. If you were a Gold tier participant in Season…
Update on SWTOR Season 5 PvP Nexu
Players who accidentally received the Season 5 Nexu will be able to keep them. BioWare Bioware is planning to add something exclusive for gold tier in patch 3.3.1. though. Check it out: The Season 5 Nexu | 07.31.2015, 03:10 PM Hey folks, Good news! We have granted Nexu to all of the remaining Gold tier characters who had not yet received it. If you were missing the Nexu, we isolated the issue to characters who had transferred or changed their names during the course of the season. I know there are questions about what will happen now, so here’s our current plans: Mistakenly Granted Nexu – Anyone who was granted a Nexu, will be allowed to keep it. This was our error and we are not inclined to take it away from everyone. Gold Tier Exclusive Reward – We know letting those extra players keep the Nexu, it takes away the exclusivity…

SWTOR Mount Flourish coming soon
BioWare will be adding a new feature called Mount Flourish. This feature will only affect the moutns that will be released in the future, and not existing ones. Mount Flourish | 02.12.2015, 05:37 PM Hey folks, As Tait alluded to, we have a PTS patch coming today at 1:30PM CST. I am posting to let you know about a new keybinding that you may find and what it means. Under keybinds, and movement, you will find that CTRL+Z is now bound to something called Mount Flourish. What this does, is upon using that binding it will have a special effect on some mounts. Think of it kind of akin to holstering your weapon, or using /special. This will not affect any existing mounts, it is going into the game to affect some mounts coming out in the future. We will have more information around those when they are closer to…
SWTOR patch 3.1 Datamined – Prinawe Mounts comming soon?
swtor_potato have discovered Several Prinawe mounts in SWTOR, while Datamining patch 3.1. It’s not completely certain how they will be added to the game, but dataminers say it might be a reward for future cantina tours. Here are what they found in the latest patch: String Changes GOM Changes File Changes Class, Converation, MTX and Codex changes New MTX Images: New Soundtracks: Many of you probably missed my second lot of MTX images in my previous post, so check it out (includes black-silver crystal picture) The cooldown of shoulder cannon is 1.5 seconds, not 1. The cooldown value was being casted to an integer when it shouldn’t of been. I don’t know how long the Soundtrack video will last, YouTubes content ID system matched one of the tracks against one of the prequel tracks. Things of note: Black silver crystal replaced by Black Purple Striated crystal. Jetpack mount being worked…
PvP vs PvE Mounts Philosophy
Eric Musco was really engaged in the community yesterday. Besides the Faction change post we wrote about earlier, he also updated the community about the PvP vs PvE Mounts Philosophy: Hey everyone, I know there has been a bit of frustration from our PvP community regarding a Rancor mount going into the Cartel Market. Although I had mentioned at the time that there would be Rancor mounts coming to both the CM and Operations, I thought it would be good to explain our philosophy on mounts. Especially around their exclusivity. For PvP mounts, such as Season rewards, what you are going to tend to find is that they are exclusive variations of a mount and not necessarily a completely exclusive model (not to say we would never do an exclusive model, that is always possible). For example, you will not find a Rancor that looks anything like Giradda’s Rancor, but…
Lucky-77 Swoop Video
Remember we told you about the new Lucky-77 Swoop? If you are a subscriber on on March 18, 2014, you will be gifted this new mount. Now BioWare have posted a new video showing off this exclusive new mount. I prefer the larger engine pods on this speeder (and the GSI Exploiter) to the crafted speeders, and I think the overall style makes for one of the better speeder designs in the game, and, hey, free dummy. Personally I don’t need subscriber appreciation gifts/bribes, but some subs have gone ballistic without BW tucking them in and telling them they love them from time to time so I’m just as glad they don’t waste effort on stuff like this.
New Unique mount from Nightmare Dread Fortress
PVP’ers are not the only once getting a new awesome mount. SnipeAlott from the guild Reckoning on The Red Eclipse server, got this awesome mount, from Nightmare Dread Fortress on the public test servers last night. The boss that drops it is Brontes, and the mount is named Wings of the Architect. It’s a regular mount that flies like a jetpack without the ability to fly inside certain structures (like a jetpack can). Still amazing looking though. Check it out:
Screenshots of the new Giradda’s Rancor PvP Mount
Patchwork from Bastion server uploaded some pretty bad-ass screenshots of the new Giradda’s Rancor PvP Mount. The mount is one of the Season 1 PvP rewards, and only players at the very top of the pile who manage a rating of 1500 or higher will get this. The end of Season 1 will come with Game Update 2.7 The full list of PVP rewards are as following: (Based on your tier at the end of Season 1) Tier 5 – Rating 0001-1149 Unique Inaugural Tier 5 Title Tier 4 – Rating 1150-1224 Unique Inaugural Tier 4 Title A Mini-Pet Tier 3 – Rating 1225-1299 Unique Inaugural Tier 3 Title A Mini-Pet Ranked 1 Ranked Armor Set Tier 2 – Rating 1300-1499 Unique Inaugural Tier 2 Title A Mini-Pet Season 1 Ranked Armor Set Season 1 Ranked Weapon Set Tier 1 – Rating 1500+ Unique Inaugural Tier 5 Title A Mini-Pet…

Festive Tauntaun on PTS collections. Not sure if I like this or not.
While I don’t like this item as a “Canon” mount in the Star Wars universe, and I understand roleplayers who would trash this mount. It is for fun, after all this is also a game and games are supposed to be fun. Lately I have put the daily grind on the shelf and started playing the game for fun. Meaning that I can sit for hours dressing my characters in expensive gear, while pointless for stats and all, I am havingagoodtime! The fact that this type of item is released gives the impression that BioWare, while serious about the game and lore, wants to convey the fun aspect of the game as a game. Last christmas I cringed when I saw the Czerks life day mount, until I met a guy called Santa who had dressed his character accordingly. I mean after all it is Star Wars. All the movies…
Two seater mounts confirmed?
This image was in the mail today. Two-seater mounts were in the game during the beta (like the Taxi’s on certain planets). The korrealis series is an example of this (they just put a piece of metal over where the other seat was. Your companion would sit with you, but when they added guys like M1-4X they scrapped the whole idea as they didn’t fit. This is Likely not for your companion though, but having your character sit in the side pod and be “driven around” by the droid.
Dewbacks in Collections next week
It looks like players finally will be able to get their hands on the Dewback mount. From the next patch comming this Tuesday, these mounts will be obtainable via packs on the cartel market. Eric Musco posted two teasers on the forum last week: Slow and steady wins the race! I heard a rumor that a Dewback mount is in the next pack, which is coming next week. That could just be a rumor though. Rumor has it that it will be in Collections on Tuesday with 2.4.3. These animal mounts are really the only thing these days, that people seem to really go crazy for. Give it time, they’ll throw in more. There is still one Varactyl and three (I think) Tauntaun mounts to be released. They’ll stretch out those Dewbacks for a very long time to sell packs. It’s going to look strange though, if they make the Dewbacks outrun speeder…
