BioWare tweeted that SWTOR will be releasing a Vaylin Inspired Armor set called Wicked Huntress Armor. The armor set will be available on the cartel market from wednesday June 1. As some players have stated, this armor will most likely be part of the new pack rather than a direct purchase. Announcing the Vaylin-inspired Wicked Huntress Armor Set. How to Look like Poe Dameron in SWTOR
In another great installment of “how to look like ___” from SWTORista, we have how to look like Poe Dameron. We love these guides she has created that detail exactly how to create a SWTOR character that looks like character’s from the new Star Wars film, “The Force Awakens”“. Here, she tells us how to recreate Poe, the famous pilot. A snippet on getting his outfit just right: Poe’s outfit in the movie is the standard Republic starfighter suit – it’s the same as the ones in the old movies. In SWTOR, there is a few types of pilot suits available, but there is only one close to the one Poe wears in the movie. You could also try dying this uniform with an orange dye! She also tells you how to get the build, hair and face right. You can try different combos to see what comes out best…
How to Look like Captain Phasma from The Force Awakens in SWTOR
Even if you have not seen the new Star Wars film yet (what rock have you been living under?), you are probably familiar with Captain Phasma. We’ve seen her in a great deal of marketing promotions for Episode 7. She’s the silver-clad Stormtrooper who is seen as Kylo Ren’s right-hand man. She’s 6 foot 5 inches of badness. The actress who plays her, Gwendoline Christie, is 6’3″. You may recognize her as Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones, or as Commander Lyme in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. © 2015 – Lucasfilm If you’re fond of Captain Phasma, SWTORISTA gives us the breakdown of how to recreate the look in SWTOR, despite the fact the movie is set thousands of years after Star Wars: The Old Republic. Here in this article, she explains exactly how to do it and we think it’s pretty cool. Here’s a snippet: Captain Phasma…
SWTOR PTS Update: Armor Weight Restrictions removed from Outfit Designer
Tait Watson posted an update from the public test servers. BioWare will be removing armor weight restrictions from the upcoming Outfit Designer. As we understand it, this will mean that light armor classes can now wear heavy armor etc in the outfit designer and heavy armor classes can wear light armor. Check it out: Outfit designer still obeys class/armor restrictions | 03.30.2015, 05:41 PM Hey everyone, We were able to get the change to armor weight restrictions implemented, and it will be available on the PTS with the bug fix build that is going live today. -Tait PTS Update – March 30th, 2015 | 03.30.2015, 05:43 PM Hey folks! We will be taking down the PTS shortly in order to apply a small bug fix patch. As we don’t note bug fixes on PTS builds, no notes will accompany this update. However, I do want to point out that the…

SWTOR Firebrand PvP Armor Animations
Along with Kell Dragon armor, they also updated the Firebrand PvP shells from Ranked Warzones with similar animation effects in patch 2.2. Dulfy does what she does best and made us some great new videos showing the animations. They are really similar to the Kell Dragon armor but they’re red instead of blue. It’s cool but not much different from the PvE sets, minus the colors. I think it looks better on some than others. But then there is the issue of whether or not we want our PvP gear to be blinking like an airport… Have a look and let us know what you think. Yay or nay? Check out the videos (thanks Dulfy!) With game update 2.0 – Rise of the Hutt Cartel live on the public test servers, we finally get the chance to see all the awesome new armor and weapon artwork. The Smuggler armor is sweet. The agent is cool, but I LOVE that Bounty Hunter helmet. Looks like the helmet from old Boba Fett concept art. If you haven’t already done so, you can read all about yesterdays update on Rise of the Hutt Cartel here, and check out the NEW 55 level Class Abilities Video here Update: Lightsaber from the-old-republic.ru mailed us a new video showing all the Arkanian gear sets in action. This is live demonstration:
Complete Custom Synthweaving overview
Here is a fantastic Compilation of all the Synthweaving armors currently available in the game. If your new to the game, Synthweaving is the process of fabricating synthetic materials out of crystals, various chemicals and artifact fragments to construct armor for Force users. Vendors provide premade solutions, suspensions and composites that are used during the Synthweaving process. Synthweavers can reverse engineer their crafted armor and possibly discover new ways to improve armor creating. What do you think? Do you like the sets? Were you disappointed? Will you be saving up for a specific set in particular? Already got a set and have screenshots of it? We want to see! Post us a link to your images in the comments.
