Consolidated Bugs List
With a new major game update, comes lots and lots of new bugs. Here is a list of the stuff that the BioWare developers are aware of. Honestly I expected worse or more bugs with this game update, considering how buggy the PTS was, so I am fairly happy about the patch so far! Post 1 Source CourtneyWoods Unintended Patch Download | 10.02.2013, 09:38 AM Hey everyone, I have an update for you. Unfortunately, if you started downloaded the 12 gig patch on Monday, you will have to finish that download. There were multiple different builds that were incorrectly deployed that afternoon and you will have to download the 12 gig download to get the up to date version of the game. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to those affected. I know this isn’t the ideal solution but this is the only safe fix to the problem other…

Scheduled Maintenance: October 1st, 2013 – Patch 2.4
It’s official. BioWare will be taking down the servers on Tuesday to upload Game update 2.4. Personally I’m pretty shocked that a major game update is only scheduled to have 4 hours downtime. What’s also impressive is that these estimates are almost always accurate. There have been a few exceptions, but Bioware has been pretty great with the patching process. No patch notes yet, but remember to check back later. We will post them as soon as they become available. Here is the official post by AmberGreen: AmberGreen Scheduled Maintenance: October 1st, 2013 | 09.28.2013, 10:06 PM On October 1st, all game servers, SWTOR.com and the launcher will be unavailable as we perform scheduled maintenance. A Warning from the Dread Masters
The Dread Masters posted a warning to all players on the official forums yesterday. Personally Love it! Whoever decided to ramp up the amount of RP juiced prepatch content is brilliant! And props to the “Dread Masters” for even replying to the whiny, troll posts! Styrak may have fallen, but your victory is an empty one. We are the Dread Masters. We are your nightmares incarnate. No longer contained by the Empire or the Republic, we will terrorize the galaxy as we please. It is futile to resist. You have a choice – become one of us or be swept aside. But the magnitude of our power is more than most can bear. You must tell us why you are worthy of us. Choose your words wisely. We will be watching. One of the posts that really court my eye was this one: War and death will claim you even in…

Below are the patch notes: Launcher Update Patch Notes Updates to Streaming Mode Implemented a fix to prevent unnecessarily lengthy file reorganization and download times for players using the launcher in Streaming Mode. Please Note: Those currently affected by this problem will need to completely finish updating and can find more information in this forum thread.
The Old Republic Insider – September 2013
The producers of Star Wars: The old Republic posted a new Insider Video, that gives an inside look at new PvP Warzone Arenas, exciting Dread Master missions, and new Cartel Market goods coming to SWTOR next month! I have a feeling the video was made a while ago and just released now, but it is still worth spending 3 minutes on. Check it out below:

The in-game progress bar will now complete to 100% as intended and no longer requires a restart before players can travel off Origin Worlds. Account names beginning with a dash (“-“) can now launch the game as intended. BitRaider (Streaming) components no longer fail to stop…

Class Representatives Update!
Eric Musco Has taken on the forums, to update the community regarding the future of the Class Representatives. Since BioWare have not yet made any actual class changes since the initiative began, the dev team have chosen to put the class Rep initiative on hiatus after the Assassin/Merc answers. This will go on until their next set of class changes that apparently comes with game update 2.5. Does this mean that Game update 2.5 will be a mini update? Who knows. The Forums are going mad about how this is the end of the game and all – You know how it always goes. Personally don’t care one bit about this. Always thought the Class Reps system wasn’t much more than a way to placate the uber-whiners on the forums with a “yes, we’re listening to you!” bone tossed to them. Eric and the rest of the CM team always will…

With game update 2.4 we finally get to see the conclusion on the epic Dread War and what will happen to the Dread Masters. BioWare posted a new Developer Blog about what we can expect plus a new Journal entry by Master Gnost Dural, were he accounts of the Dread Masters. Unfortunately this is not a recorded video like the old Galactic Timeline Records we saw before the game was launched. It’s still a great read though. TOR TV: Patch 2.4 Video Coverage – GTN Improvements
Gaddock Teeg takes a look at the quality of life improvements made to the Galactic Trade Network, now available on the Patch 2.4 PTS. Game really does keep getting better. Players can now use Shift + Left Click with the cursor in the search box of the GTN to add the name of the item. BioWare also added a sortable “Unit Price” column to the GTN Window, which will display the listed item’s price-per-unit. The GTN now auto completes with the price and duration of a player’s last posted auction. In addition, the last price will be remembered on a per-unit basis. i.e. If a player puts 1 med pack up for 10 credits, and their next auction is a stack of 20 med packs (the same type as before) it will auto complete 200 credits (10 credits for 1 x 20 = 200). The remembered price and duration are…
Join the Battle – Official Live Action Video!
I guess most people already seen this video before, but it’ still so god damn cool. Good work BioWare. Everytime I see a real person and hear a lightsaber ignite, I just want to believe it’s real. This video was original one of their “hidden” promotional videos at E3 2012, and was shown again at Gamescom 2012 were we covered it. For some reason though, BioWare just re released it, and it is now available on the official swtor youtube site. Check it out:

2.3.2b Patch Notes 9/11/2013
BioWare has taken down the servers tor fix a bug that apparently have been pretty game breaking. I haven’t had any issues my self, but I have heard of some people that couldn’t play for days. Of course the forums are going to make it sound like this is the worst possible thing to ever have happened on September 11th. 2.3.2b Patch Notes General Corrected an issue that could cause players to be kicked back to Character Select when attempting to log into certain characters.
Rise of the Hutt Cartel – Free to Subscribers Starting September 12th!
BioWare posted some great news last night. From tomorrow, all active Subscribers will receive the first Digital Expansion: Rise of the Hutt Cartel free of charge as a newly added benefit to the Subscriber Rewards Program! This is awesome stuff, as it 1) encourages subs (because yay free expansion), it is an arguably considerable reward to those already subbed and don’t have the expansion. Still the butt hurt on the official forum is comical, all the early subscribers want coins too, but don’t realize they’ve gotten 5 months of expanded content and are not getting compensated because Bioware hasn’t developed time travel yet. Anyways. Check out the full story below: Beginning September 12, 2013, active Subscribers will receive the first Digital Expansion: Rise of the Hutt Cartel free of charge as a newly added benefit to the Subscriber Rewards Program! Rise of the Hutt Cartel offers the breathtaking planet of Makeb, five new levels…

What makes them stand out from Huttball? BARON DEATHMARK: I’m so glad you asked that, Lamalla! A lot of folks out there assume that all Giradda’s doing is taking the ball out of Huttball, and that just isn’t true. That would leave nothing but…
