How to create your own SWTOR Podcast

Ever wanted to create your own SWTOR Podcast. It seems to be the hot thing these days. Personally I have a hard time going through some of the 75 min long monstrosities that seems to be really popular within the SWTOR community. That’s also the main reasons we don’t have our own podcast here at swtorstrategies. we do however post our favorite podcast – created by torwars – on our facebook page when they come out. However… If you want to create your own podcast, the guys over at Mos Eisley Radio ( these guys also run a cool podcast that I recommend)  has put together a video overview that covers the basics of creating a podcast. A must see if you a new at creating podcast, or you are thinking about making one. Easily the most common question we have received since posting the first episode of Mos Eisley Radio is “How do you make the podcast?” From deciding…

Gamebreaker SWTOR Video Blog #22

We haven’t followed the republic podcast for a while. Mainly becourse it haven’t been that intereseting. But this week, the guys discussed the trooper class — My favorite! This one is a long one though so we have posted a short summary below the video. Basically the podcast could be broken down as: Trooper video analysis: They dislike the female trooper, the guy with glasses wants his trooper to be a bulky bad ass. Also they enjoy the grenade shot by the Trooper that knocks back the force leap. Secondly they discuss what “modular shield” means in reference to the Trooper’s ship. They decide it either means interchangeable shields or damage would effect parts of the shield separately. Recreation Center: They discuss what a recreation center on the space ships likely means and if they think it’s cool. They guy with the bandana thinks a gym where you could workout would be cool,…

WoW Commercial Parody SWTOR Style

A parody created by Aaron G. Thompson of the Un-Official Star Wars The Old Republic Vodcast, based off of the WoW commercials (Mini Me, Mr. T – etc), and set in the SWTOR world. The Un-Official Star Wars The Old Republic Vodcast (USWTORV) hosted by Aaron G. Thompson illustrates news, current events, and community of the Star Wars The Old Republic MMORPG fanbase in a productive video format. USWTORV was created in September 10′ for the sole purpose of communicating released information of Star Wars The Old Republic (an MMORPG by Bioware) in a video format to the mass audience. Aaron G. Thompson who has worked professionally in theatre, film, and taught (improve comedy) class to groups; took on said project in hopes of sparking that artistic view he once had. Being out of the “arts” eyes for 5 years, he needed an outlet — a burst of confidence to…

Gamebreaker Video Podcast dissects recent QA

Gamebreaker published their “The Republic” Video Podcast yesterday. This time , they covery QA Questions from the latest Fan Update and the darkside corruption. To me Jay comes off as an Uber Nerd, but he really doesn’t know much about SW:TOR or Star Wars for that matter. He can’t comprehend that the reasons AOC and WAR failed were not because they were WoW clones, but that they were way too focused on PVP and were rushed products. Had either of those game had the time they needed and cared at all for their PVE content they could have done really well. I will say that I’m not shocked somebody else is complaining about the overzealous mods on the TOR boards killing threads. I can’t wait until the game launches and they can’t handle the massive amounts of posts on the forums. They’ll probably ease up on the insane amount of…

Darth Hater potcast

A day ago Darth Hater crew made their weekly podcast, during which they jawed about Dragon Age, Imperial Agents, and what class Jabba the Hutt would be. Well, they didn’t talk about the last one, but really — Gangster? Slug Supreme? Whatever he’d be, I’d play him, even if my run speed would be two feet per day. So if you feel inclined, you can listen to the podcast here!
