SWTOR Patch 4.1 Maintenance Delayed due to External Networks

BioWare are having trubles with SWTOR Patch 4.1. SO far the maintenance has been delayed due to external network issue. There is currently no ETA on when the servers will come online. Maintenance: 9 February 2016 | 02.09.2016, 05:28 PM Hey folks, We are nearing my “best case scenario” of one hour. We are not ready to bring the servers live yet, but we are still looking good. We are continuing to push the update out across our live servers, where we will then test these changes again. Assuming at that point, that everything looks good, we will bring the servers online. I am being told that it is possible that all of this can be complete within an hour. So, another best case ETA of one hour from the time of this post, or 6:30 PM CT. Patch 1.1.2 Causes More Ilum Bugs – Emergency patch today!

Just when you thought PvP on Ilum was fixed, BioWare came in and borked it again! Patch 1.1.2 is reported to have caused even more bugs in Ilum. The biggest issue: kills on Ilum are not counting towards daily and weekly quests. According to reports in the official SWTOR forums, this problem occurred after Star Wars: The Old Republic patch 1.1.2 went live yesterday. After some time of no response to the players, Associate Online Community Manager Joveth Gonzalez came in for an update, saying this: “The dev team has been investigating the cause of this issue and they’re closer to figuring out a solution.  As mentioned before, we’ll keep you updated with any new developments.  Thanks again for your patience on this.” Blah, blah, blah… sounds like the same old thing that really means, “Oops, we broke it. March Update Will be Huge for SWTOR

While we were all awaiting Patch 1.1, which was delayed, there is news that in the not-too-far future, there will be a huge update for SWTOR. The second release, planned for March, is expected to be much bigger in scope- “huge” in fact, in terms of what it will add to the game. SWTOR Game director James Ohlen, who told CVG in a recent interview that Game Update 2 will include three major pieces of content, as well as “full” Legacy game content.
