..or at least, I’m pretty sure that’s what the big hairy fella is saying in the hilarious Windows 7 video parody below anyway. The Chewbacca version is definitely the best, thanks to the glorious inclusion of the clearly clueless Storm Trooper signing a “translation” to what everyone’s favourite Wookie is actually saying. Perfect, perfect touch. The other two parodies are no less than brilliant either, as you’ll see below: Here’s the Storm Trooper… And here is the Cosmic Kraven himself, Darth Vader… Thanks to YouTube user SneakyZebra for posting these videos- and kudos for the quality.

God Says Minecraft, RIFT & SWTOR Are Turning Your Children Gay
Well not God exactly, more Bryan Blake, ChristWire Network Host and “Radio Guru”, who has some, let’s say interesting, views on the effect that certain video games, including SWTOR are having on the impressionable young minds of gamers all over the world. Blake seems to have particular problems with the over-use of phallic idols (i.e. great big willies masquerading as things like light sabres and Creepers), which he claims have been hidden in video games by some mass homosexual conspiracy with an agenda to “poison” gamers. I’m sorry Mr Blake, but let’s break this down for a minute: I personally think that it is the person who insists that everything shaped a bit phallus-like penile who has the pre-occupation with penises. So, I’m going to revert to the age-old, scientifcally sound theory that It Takes One To Know One. Here’s a sample quote of what the faith-wielding, jargon-spouting Idiot Savant…
Script Changes That Could Have Saved The Star Wars Prequels
Those purveyors of finest Geek humour at Dorkly have published a hilarious list of seven script changes that could have made the Star Wars prequels trilogy. And I have to say I agree with pretty much all of them, especially the Darth Maul line below: I’ve always thought a spin-off or prequel dedicated to Maul’s story would be the best approach to extending the franchise again. But then, sometimes, it becomes clear that logic and intellectual progression aren’t always the driving forces behind the Star Wars universe. Anyway, here are the images in question… Head over to Dorkly for the other four suggested changes. Remember to follow me on Twitter @SiTheMovieGuy for further ramblings on everything geek related (or head over to ObsessedWithFilm.com to read my movie based writings).
Cracked.com Shows Why ‘Star Wars’ Is Secretly Terrifying for Women
Had to share this one from the geniuses at Cracked.com who have consistently been making me spit coffee out of my nose since I started avidly reading the site some time back. Look out for further adventures in movie philosophising from the After Hours team, as they tackle life’s most important questions: including Which Ninja Turtle Are You? A question I have lost a good few nights worth of sleep to, I have to admit. Turns out I’m April O’Neill. Sometimes the mystery is better than the truth… Anyway, who’d have thought George Lucas was a big ole sexist?
Awesome Street Art “I Am Your Father”
I love Street Art (even if Banksy’s gone a bit too bonkers for my liking recently), and find the culture of making art readily accessible to everyone by their position in full view on street walls, and other ingenious urban canvases. Trawling through the net yesterday, I discovered this little beauty, which probably owes a lot to Banksy’s style (given the humorous tone and stencil work), but which in itself is pure brilliance… Don’t know about you lot, but I think it’d make a great poster addition to my already way too dorky movie room at home. I Find Your Lack of Zoom Lollies Disturbing
What did Darth Vader do during down-time with the Empire? How did he pay the hefty overheads for the Death Star? Thanks to the lovely, talented folks at Think Geek, we now have some idea… Multiple awards should be given out for the acting. Seriously, that little dude in the green tee is like the next Dustin Hoffman. But, why did these fellas choose the (admittedly delicious looking) Light Sabre pops when they could have had one of these babies…
Never Seen Star Wars?!?!
Some people just don’t know what they’re missing… Thanks to Live For Film for directing my eyes to this one. Follow me on Twitter: @sithemovieguy
Evan Mather’s Kung Fu Kenobi’s Big Adventure
Here’s something we already knew: Evan Mather makes great short films and animations under his Hand Crafted Films name (his Three Reasons series is brilliant), and now we also know that he can turn his talents to the Star Wars universe and make something equally good. Below is Mather’s “Kung Fu Kenobi’s Big Adventure”, linked from his Youtube for your consideration. It’s a touch on the wierd side, but then aren’t we all? My favourite bit is the Pulp Fiction riff. But then, I get excited whenever I hear that monologue (even if it did launch Samuel L Jackson’s career in a largely shouty new direction for a while). Why not make your own film like this? You will need: Some star wars action figures (sacrilegiously unmint and out of the box) A selection of movie audio clips An eye for gratuitous crotch-violence shots Lots and lots of LSD
Is This The Most Mental Star Wars Comic Tie-In Ever Created?
Thank God for the internet. In the olden days, thousands of prospective artists probably sneaked under the radar, never to share their delights with the world for the lack of a mass-reaching forum, and the world missed the opportunity for further enrichment. Now that’s all changed, and even the most ridiculously untalented of broadband owner can air their scrawls and ravings for the world to see. And among that lot, we invariably find geniuses who might quite possibly also be completely bonkers. Writer Jeremy Hammond and artist Andrew Dubongco fall into that last category, and we know this thanks to their bat-shit crazy comic “Fear and Loathing in Mos Eisley”, which combines too of my great movie loves under one lunatic banner. And fear not, for it features penis-spiders. I’ll leave it to the duo themselves to describe the overall manifesto for the comic, but I’m certainly intrigued to say…
Rebecca Black destroys Alderaan
Since it’s pretty slow with Star Wars: The old republic right now, we have set out to find other stuff to write about. So excuse us for being off topic once in a while this week. During my daily run around the net, I came across this little jewel. Along with brock’s dubb, this is one of the funnier “Friday” parodies I have ever seen. Besides the actual music video of course.
College Humour’s Clever Star Wars Public Service Posters
One characteristic of the film industry that has always intrigued me is the culture of fan-made alternative posters that inevitably pop up whenever a film is loved enough to inspire even the smallest rabid fan following. And thanks to the internet, every Tom, Dick and Obi Wan with Photoshop skills, an eye for a punchy poster, and a penchant for the finer points of the geekiest film franchises can now post their own lovingly made creations for our consideration. College Humour have posted seven beautiful new Star Wars posters, of which the one to the left here is my favourite, and the one below runs a close second. Simple, bold and effective. To see the other five, head over to College Humour and feast your eyes on their clever creations. The Force is strong in these ones.
OMG Cat Discovers Star Wars
Okay, so OMG Cat is hardly new news, but the feline with the most expressive face this side of a Tom & Jerry cartoon is still a major draw when teamed up with just the right revelation for maximum effect. So, it is with great pleasure that I introduce this funny re-edit, teaming up OMG Cat with the single greatest inter-gallactic familial revelation ever to grace the world of cinema. In the immortal words of Maury Povich: “Darth Vader, in the case of Luke Skywalker, you ARE the father!”” Now everyone, say along with me: Oh My GOD!!!
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Remake STAR WARS
This Confirms my theory that the these two guys can literally be doing anything, and it will be non-stop hilarious. I love how they’ve watched this so much (or their writers did) that they flawlessly KNOW how to blend the different scenes together.
Star Wars Vinyl Wall Decals
I don’t think the pictures are doing justice to these decals. All of these would be awesome in the right setting – like the Stormtrooper in a white bathroom. I do miss an AT-AT though. If I was to put these on my wall, id place them a little lower to the ground. just floating there looks…. off. Chewbacca might also be good for scaring off burglars. 4’1”W x 6’5”H Darth Vader vinyl wall decal. 4’2”W x 4’2”H Death Star vinyl wall decal. 2’1”W x 6’H Stormtrooper vinyl wall decal. 6’4”W x 3’5”H Millennium Falcon vinyl wall decal. 2’4” x 6’4”H Boba Fett vinyl wall decal. 4’7”W x 6’6”H Luke Skywalker vinyl wall decal. 6’1”W x 5’9”H Darth Maul vinyl wall decal. 3’9”W x 2’2”H Yoda vinyl wall decal. 4’W x 6’5”H Han Solo vinyl wall decal. 2’1”W x 5’6”H C-3PO vinyl wall decal. 2’1”W x 3’2”H R2-D2 vinyl wall…
Freaky Chinese Star Wars Babies Posters
Apparently Adidas thought this would be a good idea and make you buy their shoes. These posters was created by the artist Dorophy Tang as promotion for the Star Wars X Adidas Originals series in China.
Star Wars Parody ‘Troopers: Forcefield’ Starring Aubrey Plaza
CollegeHumor has launched a new sci-fi comedy series called Troopers, which is sort of a Star Wars-inspired parody. “In intergalactic war, there are heroes, villains, and then these guys.” The first installment is titled “Forcefield” and features Aubrey Plaza (Scott Pilgrim, Funny People, Mystery Team) as a princess who is imprisoned in a forcefield on an intergalactic spaceship.
May the schwartz be with you: Sheen Wars: Darth Sheen is Winning
Youtube User DarthBaleDotCom has busted out a mashup of Charlie Sheen’s now-historic rants (with a little vocorder added) with Darth Vader’s historic entrance in the Star Wars saga. I was expecting to hate this. But it’s a wonderfully refreshing way to relive all those classic Sheen soundbites from so long, long ago. See our bi-winning superstar playing as the Darth Vader. Darth Sheen has tiger’s blood and Adonis DNA. Darth Sheen argues with his henchmen and orders stormtroopers about saying: “We are high priest Vatican assassin warlocks!”” He also has a confrontation with Princess Leia which finishes with Darth Sheen blasting: “I’m done, it’s on, bring it!”” Darth Sheen also has an argument with one of the commanders of the Death Star. In the Two-and-a-Half Men star’s unmistakable voice the masked figure shouts: “I’m so tired of pretending my life isn’t b****ing and perfect and winning. “I’m just going to…
Star Wars – Hungarian Film Posters
I have no clue why there were added green monsters to these Hungarian movie posters for the original Star Wars trilogy, but they are pretty awesome! Before this internet thing, I had no idea of the scope of international movie poster art and the variations on a theme. I wonder how they would look if they were made for The force awakens A New Hope Empire Strikes Back Return Of The Jedi

The Volkswagen Vader commercial: The extended ‘Force’ footage
The Little Vader Volkswagen commercial already established its Sith dominance over all other Super Bowl commercials. But its awesomeness may have gotten even greater thanks to these outtakes. Little Vader’s masterful attempt to use the Force on an elliptical machine, as well as a dog, is something to behold. Ps. The Volkswagen polo is a nice car to! Please send one!
Episode IV retold using iconography
Digital designer Wayne Dorrington produced the below graphic that uses only icons to retell George Lucas’ Star Wars: A New Hope. For those already familiar with the plot, the graphic does a good job in presenting the film’s narrative in symbolic form. For instance, an X means “No”, a plus sign cues the introduction of characters and props, and important dialogs—“That’s no moon!”—are represented by speech bubbles on the respective characters.
Star Wars AT-AT Imperial Walker built from scrap computer parts
What’s the best way to recycle old computers? Send them to a recycling plant for a couple extra dollars? How about creating a Star Wars sculpture instead? Etsy user, TGNsmith must be a huge Star Wars fan, because only love could craft this sightly AT-AT. Weighing at roughly 15 pounds and made from a bunch of power supply boxes, floppy drive housings and scrap metal (costing of old computers and sheet metal), TGNsmith welded the whole foot high and foot long AT-AT by himself. Great job dude, it looks pretty sweet. If you want every Star Wars fan boy’s wet dream – a replica of the Imperial forces four-legged vehicle, the All Terrain Armored Transport better known as the AT-AT, you’d better hurry up. There’s only one of these AT-AT’s and it’s available on Etsy for a whopping $450. Grab it before some other Star Wars fan does.
Video: VW Gears Up For Super Bowl XLV With Tiny Vader
Now included in the history of Super Bowl advertising: “Star Wars.” Lucasfilm, the production company founded by “Star Wars” creator George Lucas, has paired up with Volkswagen of America for a 30-second spot during the Super Bowl this Sunday. For those that don’t care one lick about the Super Bowl, the commercials have always helped pass the time. While there have been off years, this years bout between the Packers and Steelers should give Volkswagen the opportunity to shine. The spot portrays a small-size version of galactic villain, Darth Vader, using “the Force,” on a 2012 Volkswagen Passat, accompanied by the swelling music of the “Imperial March.”” Somehow there is also a baby involved. Coo. According to Tim Ellis of Volkswagen of America, “We’ve partnered with Lucasfilm for the all-new Passat ad, leveraging the emotional heritage of both “Star Wars” and Volkswagen to create a memorable moment. The ad is…
May the schwartz be with you: Benny Hinn – Dark Lord of the Sith
I’ve never had much time for Benny Hinn and most of the TBN crowd, and their distortions of the word of God. And perhaps this video is a little tasteless, but man, it’s really funny. This brother can really wield a light saber. For some reason Benny Hinn is more convincing as a Sith lord then a new age preacher.
