It’s Thursday and time for a new guild interview. This time the Sith PVP guild, Lost Tribe of Sith, Took the the time to answer our question. The guild is in the EST Timezone and is still accepting members. Check it out below.
Where did your guilds name come from?
Actually, it is from a piece of official Star Wars lore. I was reading about the Lost Tribe of Sith that crashed on a planet in wild space and decided to rebuild a new civilization. So I found it interesting, and the perfect way to Role Play what we wanted to do. We wanted a new system of rules and ranks, but wanted it to fit into TOR Lore without making it seem like we made our own tribe from nothing in a day. So we are using the time before launch to make our lore and explain how our tribe connects with the main story.
Can you give me a quick 2-3 sentance description of your guild?
We are Sith, but not traditional. We believe some trust is vital; not rule by fear, but by respect. We are also led by a Circle of Lords rather than one Emperor or General, yet maintain loyalty to the Empire and Emperor.
How did your guild come about?
My old guild leader was lazy and inactive, so Lucas (aka Zarith Brood, who is also our Lore Master) and I decided to form our own guild to make it more efficient and fair. We invited our former guild members. Most of them followed us and we have been expanding ever since.
What kind of play style do you focus on? PvE, PvP, RP:
RP and PVP
What is your guild set up? How do you run your guild?
The Lords and Masters handle mostly everything so the members can have a great time. However, if any major problems need resolving, we have a guild meeting and discuss it. Then a vote is held, and we decide as a guild what the best solution would be.
How serious do you play and/or run the guild?
I am a laid back player and want to experience the story line to the fullest. Though, when it comes to my guild, I try to take it as serious as the situation is.
Do you have ranks or a certain hierarchy in your guild?
A Circle of Lords runs our guild. They are determined by the founders, Lucas and I.
We appointed Kevin to the Circle, then we voted in our most active members, Kyra and Xeotricus. Those that hold a position of Master can set in on the Circle of Lords meetings, but cannot vote. Our member meetings are a bit more lax, but we keep order. Grand Lord, High Lord/Lady, and Lord/Lady make up the Circle of Lords. Then Masters, Apprentices, Tyros and Servants make up the rest of the guild. We will not use Servants as a rank until we are in game, and can give Trials to become Tyros. Our master/apprentice system is unique because Tyros may challenge Apprentices for their ranks, as Apprentices can challenge Masters. RPly, Masters want the strongest Tyros, and Apprentices would want their Master’s title. Or they can just wait for another position to open.
Why did you choose The Sith Empire?
Sith use superior logic, and I love their sneaky politics. In Knights of the Old republic the, Jedi just seemed foolish and misguided. The real Jedi became outcasts, because they did what they felt to be right. While the Jedi think emotions are a weakness, Sith say to embrace them and use them as a strength.
Why do you run a guild?
I had an idea of a Circle of Lords ruling. Not just one power hungry guy that wanted to feel powerful and unstoppable. This set up, in my eyes, will keep order and peace.
How do you approach Raid Planning?
Guild Launch actually makes that really easy. You have a system where you can set it up, make times and such. Really great site. Even though we are an RP guild, we have many raids planned as events.
Are you always open for new recruits or do you want to keep a certain guild size?
The more, the merrier. We have a system that allows us to add a deserving member to an officer or leader position to help us keep the masses quelled and in line.
Age Requirement?
We value maturity over age.
What makes your guild stand out from everyone else? What makes your guild unique?
Our rank system and how we do things. Most guilds, the members do not have a voice. We have weekly meetings with the members to make sure they are all happy and our lords will always help you out. Like I said, we are loyal to the Empire, but we are not traditional Sith.
How do you spend your time until release? Do you know each other in real life or do you spend a lot of time on forums?
We have tons of topics on the forums and we are currently RPing on our forums. Every time we get a new member we, Role Play how we met them and how we got introduced. We have a Facebook group so we all know each other. We plan on being a tight knit guild even when we reach 100 + members.
What Other Games are you currently playing as a guild?
Some of us play Minecraft together. Our guild leaders, early on, played GTA MTA.
If somebody is interested now how and where can they apply for membership?

One last question, if there was one thing you could ask the Dev’s to include, what would it be?
A flexible rank system for the guilds. That way, a co-leader or two (with the same powers as leader) could be appointed.
