SWTOR’s Pirate Incursion Returns Tomorrow, So Dantooine Is About to Be Annoying Again

Dantooine is about to have another completely normal week.

Which, in Star Wars: The Old Republic, means pirates, sabotage, daily missions, reputation grinding, and players once again asking why this supposedly quiet farming world keeps getting dragged into galactic nonsense.

Pirate Incursion returns on July 21, 2026 and runs until July 28, according to SWTOR’s official July event schedule. The event is available for characters level 20 and above, so it is a pretty easy excuse to jump back in, even if your main has been abandoned on the fleet like a sad decoration.

The Nova Blades Are Back

Pirate Incursion sends players back to Dantooine, where the Nova Blade pirates are causing trouble during the ongoing Republic and Empire conflict. The event originally arrived with Game Update 5.10.3: The Dantooine Incursion, turning the planet into a compact conflict zone full of daily missions, Heroics, reputation rewards, and the usual MMO checklist temptations.

It is not the biggest event in SWTOR, but it works because it is simple.

Go to Dantooine. Fight pirates. Do dailies. Chase rewards. Tell yourself it will only take 20 minutes.

A Good Time to Return to SWTOR

The timing is actually pretty decent if you have been thinking about coming back.

Summer is a good excuse to reinstall, dust off an old character, or start fresh if you somehow never tried The Old Republic. Pirate Incursion is short, readable, and easy to understand, which makes it a much softer landing than jumping straight into years of story backlog and wondering why half the galaxy knows your character personally.

Rewards Are the Real Trap

Pirate Incursion rewards have traditionally included the Nova Blade and Dantooine Homesteader armor sets, plus mounts, pets, decorations, reputation items, and event vendor collectibles.

That is where the event gets dangerous.

You think you are just doing a few dailies.

Then you notice a decoration.

Then you check the vendor.

Then suddenly Dantooine owns your evening.

Pirate Incursion runs from July 21 to July 28, so the window is short.
