Star Wars has enjoyed a revitalisation to their franchise with the launch of a new series of films, beginning in 2015 with The Force Awakens. The trend continued with Rogue One which was released at the end of last year, with both movies enjoying great success at the box office with the latter surpassing the $800m mark following its release before Christmas. One of the most prominent avenues of the series’ success has been the fruitful transition of the franchise on to several gaming platforms. Bioware took down the servers yesterday for an emergency hotfix involving an exploit with the Galactic Command sytem. Here are the patch notes for SWTOR game update 5.0A General Crew Skills now display in the Crew Skills UI even if originally opened through the drop down menu. Shae Vizla now properly receives bolster, and has stats comparable to other Companions. The highlighted Galactic Command activity now gives bonus Command Experience as intended. Missions + NPCs It is now possible to complete the Makeb Mission “Descent into the Core.” Vaylin now appears with the appropriate hologram VFX when seen on the Horizon Guard’s holocom in the opening Knights of the Eternal Throne Chapter I cinematic. Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif – Official Trailer
Dice released a trailer for Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif. This will be the final digital expansion for Star Wars: Battlefront, and will drop next week, on december 6. for all season pass holders. Among the features of the new expansion are four new maps, which include “the planet “Scarif” that was featured in the theatrical trailer of “Rogue One.” The expansion will also introduce a pair of new heroes, Jyn Erso the good guy and Orson the bad guy, as well as a new “multi-stage game mode with space and ground combat.”” To celebrate one year since release, you can play the Outer Rim, Bespin, or Death Star expansion packs for free from now until November 20th. All players will be able to earn 4x score for the entire weekend.
SWTOR Game Update 5.0 Known Issues
We all know how it goes, with a new game patch comes new bugs. Here are a list of knows issues with Game update 5.0 in Star Wars The: Old Republic – Knights of the eternal throne: Crew Skills are missing from the Crew Skills UI. Workaround: Open the Crew Skills window with the hotkey (“B” by default) and they will repopulate. Legacy Abilities are missing. Workaround: Relog and they will reappear.
