We finally have some new info on the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer! It’s going to release on ESPN during Monday Night Football, October 19. The game between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles starts around 8PM-ish Eastern time so you’ll want to tune in if you’re not already a football fan, and wait for this trailer to debut. Once it does, we’re sure it will be all over the Internet too so if you happen to miss it, stop back by our site Monday evening and we’ll try to rustle up a copy for your viewing pleasure.
We also have a big reveal of the trailer poster:

If it looks familiar, that might be because it was done by our favorite Star Wars illustrator, Drew Struzan. It has the bright, colorful, Star Wars design we are familiar with, the main characters and actor info. We’ll have to await the trailer before we can say much more but I am definitely excited!
So what do you think? Feeling as excited for the movie as ever before?
Remember, there’s going to be a Star Wars marathon leading up to The Force Awakens, previously announced by Fandango. Theaters will screen the seven movies in order on December 17. The marathon will begin at 4AM and conclude with The Force Awakens at 7pm. Tickets will cost you $50. If you’re a hardcore Star Wars fan, you’re not going to want to miss this. It’s going to be more than a movie marathon – it will be a true event. It’s sure to be a historic part of pop culture for many generations to come.
