SWTOR Gree event is coming back… Sooner or later
Eric Musco Just informed the community that the Gee event will be making a return to Star Wars: The old Republic, but it might be a while. The event needs to get an update, so it fits to level 60 game play first. Hey folks, I can confirm that it is definitely our plan to bring the Gree event back at some point in the future. When the event returns, it will also be scaled up to level 60. Unfortunately, I donât have any details around timing yet but stay tuned for any future announcements! Thanks! -eric
Las Vegas Community Cantina Flash Drive Contents
The SWTOR Las Vegas Cantina Tory is over. As always, attendance got a nice flashdrive full of nice new images from the BioWare custom printed pop up tent models. It looks like the new revanite armor is unsurprisingly less dread guardy and more revany. The mount looks cool. “World First Kill” of Rakghoul Event World Boss on Tattoine
It has happened- the first world kill of the Rakghoul Event. So we know âfirst killâ claim on a world boss is pretty funny but itâs still an interesting story. They said they were not looking for the boss, but happened upon it while out and about doing something else. The world boss on Tattoine was taken down by a four man group, according to basedlando, who had this to say: âThe boss was cool, it’s name is Plaguehorn, we four manned it with people in Dread Master Gear, 1 Assassin Tank, 1 Operative Healer, 2 Annihilation Marauders. While I’m glad to finally see when it will return, I’m a bit disheartened to learn it’ll be just a week. We love to share info with you about Community Cantinas. Bruce MacleanFor just posted an updated Roadmap of what to expect in Star Wars: The old Republic this summer. The new release schedule, now that 2.8 (the end of the last roadmap) is approaching and looking very different than what was said in the last roadmap. Interesting they’re doing double fleet req/warzone comms but not valor. Not sure how I feel about this operation overhaul for 55 Operations, but if it gets more groups going to the end instead of stopping at the weeklies, more power to them. Unfortunately their decision to push back strongholds leaves us with a gap in terms of new content releases. Guess the name of the game now is patience. mmorpg.com have an article on what went on on last weekends Atlanta Cantina Tour: Last week, BioWare sent Star Wars: the Old Republic’s Community Specialist Courtney Woods, Community Manager Eric Musco, Producer Andrew Horowitz, and Lead Engineer Johan Allanson to Atlanta with swag and drink tickets in hand for the latest Cantina Tour stop. The now-traditional flashdrive that was handed out contained a series of images from upcoming content, and as expected, there was a Q&A session with Courtney Woods moderating the party. Here are the contents of the Atlanta Cantina Tour flashdrive. Items of interest includes some screenshots of the Quesh Huttball, new GS Denon map, screens of Tython/Korriban flashpoints that all coming with patch 2.7. I really like the concept art for the new flashpoint NPC’s. Theron Shan looks awesome! If you are not familiar with this guy, I can tell you he is a Republic spy in Republic SIS, and the secret son of Satele Shan, making him a direct descendant of the legendary Jedi Knights Revan and Bastila Shan.
