SWTOR Game Update 4.4: Known Issues
With a new game update comes new bugs. Here are a list of known issues with game update 4,4: The Collections unlock button does not function within the Collections menu for Fallen Defender’s armor set and the Ginx companion. The description for the Plunderer Pack within the Cartel Market does not list “Weapon Tuning” from the list of available item categories that are drawn from. The source listed on the tooltip pop-up of the inventory icon for the Plundered TC-16 Spewie Display Pedestal decoration is “Alliance Supply Crate” instead of “Cartel Market: Plunderer Pack.” The inventory icon for the Iknayid pet reward from the Eternal Championship does not match the in game pet model. Unavailable Cartel Market items are listed in Collections. With the exception of the first one, these are all issues with the cartelmarket. Custom SWTOR Topps Card
If you’re not familiar with Topps cards, the company, founded in 1938, is famous for creating collectible trading cards, candy, chewing gum and other collectibles. Growing up in the 90s, baseball cards were the big thing (at least in my circles) but the company also makes other sports cards and even non-sports trading cards. They worked with the Disney Channel, for example, to create trading cards for Hannah Montana and High School Musical. They also made Pokemon trading cards, not to be confused with the Pokemon Trading Card Game from Wizards of the Coast. So what if they were to create Star Wars themed cards? What if they made SWTOR cards? What an awesome idea! Someone already had this idea but I cannot claim it as my own. If you’ve read our site for any amount of time now, you already know that I am a big fan of LEGO and Star Wars. If you’re just popping in with us for this article, well, I love LEGO and Star Wars. I do not think I’m alone in this passion because there are some really great Star Wars LEGO creations out there. That said, this just might be my all-time favorite. This is an amazing piece of work. This person should be a Master Builder for sure. He said he just wanted to build something that would be like his own dream set but this is really, really incredible. Battlefront May Update Lined Up – What to Expect?
To address the alleged shallowness of their much-hyped Star Wars: Battlefront, DICE have come up with an impressive solution: throw content at the player-base every now and then and make that content as easy on the eyes and as appealing gameplay-wise as possible. Their recently released Outer Rim expansion represented the first stage of this strategy and it looks like it hit the nail on the head, although it came packed with bugs, which have to be ironed out. While the next DLC is scheduled for June, the team will not rest on their laurels till then. In fact, there’s a major update scheduled for May and although its release date is not yet set, most believe that it will come in the early part of the month. Star Wars Casinos and Gambling
It’s a big Star Wars world out there, much like the vast nature of online gaming. Star Wars casinos and gambling are a part of the storyline but we won’t see much of that in any Star Wars games, especially now that Disney has the rights to the brand. When they discontinued the Star Wars and Marvel slot machines because they didn’t sit with their idea of “family friendly” gaming, it was apparent we wouldn’t see gambling or casinos in any soon-to-come Star Wars games. Eternal Empire Recon Walker changes comming to SWTOR
Eric Musco just informed the community that The Eternal Empire Recon Walker, previously a rare drop from Star Fortress, will drop in Eternal Championship and become bound on legacy. Hey folks, I wanted to pass on some information regarding a change to the Eternal Empire Recon Walker that is coming in Game Update 4.4. Currently, the Walker is a rare drop from The Exarch in Star Fortresses. We are making two changes to the mount. First, the Walker will now also be available from an Eternal Championship vendor. Second, we are changing the item from Bind on Equip to Bind on Legacy. If you have an active GTN sale at the time of 4.4’s release, this will behave normally. However at the time of sale or expiration, the item will become Bind on Legacy. Thanks everyone. -eric

Eric just informed the community that players can transfer characters between NA and EU servers for 1500 CC. Star Wars Fan Film Unity of the Force
Here’s a really cool fan made film we think you will enjoy. In this story, the young hero, Lak, is tasked with finding an artifact, a special lightsaber that is said to be the most powerful in existence. He is less than enthused in the beginning, which makes him different from many young Jedis. I would expect him to be chomping at the bit to take on a mission like this but instead, his attitude was one of “Can’t someone else do it?” While this annoyed me, I also thought it was kind of refreshing to see a different angle taken. So anyway, he goes on to complete this mission to find The Artifact and there are many obstacles in his way, which is no surprise. I love LEGO and I love Star Wars. I’ve written about this before here on the site. So you can imagine how excited I get when LEGO and Star Wars come together, as they often do. Here is a really cool example of that in these Star Wars posters by LEGO. Someone has taken the time to put them together side-by-side. Despite the last one being flipped, it’s a really good way to see all of them at once like this the way the original posters were intended to be viewed. The first expansion pack to DICE’s popular Star Wars: Battlefront, Outer Rim, was sure to be a major hit with players, some of whom had decried a certain lack of depth plaguing the original release. Meant to address just that issue, Outer Rim brought tons of new content, including new locations like Jabba the Hutt’s palace and the factories of Sullust. The game has always done a great job in the authenticity department, placing players smack in the middle of the Star Wars universe, and through Outer Rim, that has been taken to a new level. In addition to graphical perfection, the creators of the game have been extremely keen on details, strewing several canon-references over the new locations. Star Wars: Uprising – Alternate Approaches to Defeating Lvl 85 Lightside Boss (PPK)
The two methods I know of to defeat the PPK (Light Side Lvl 85 Boss) are: Get 5* Noble Gear so you’re immune to his stun Use Sticky Bomb, Snare, and Intimidate, and kite him to the beginning and back Both work fine (with skill, patience, and some luck). Just for kicks I’ve been testing other approaches. Obviously it takes a long time to test different abilities, so I thought I’d crowd source it. Please let me know if you’ve tried the abilities below and what the result was: Diving Roll Level 1 (He’s gonna harpoon you! Dive!)
