1.2.1 Patch Notes 4/24/2012

As always BioWare used today’s server maintenance to patch up. This time with the largest patch since 1.2. If you me, the most important issue corrected, is the issue that prevented players from adding offline players to their friends list. This makes it much easier to mail stuff to your alts.  Unfortunately still doesn’t seem to work for our own cross faction alts. Classes and Combat Jedi Knight Sentinel Zen (with Ataru Form) now correctly reduces the global cooldown of Cyclone Slash. Smuggler General Charged Burst’s damage has been increased by approximately 5%. Gunslinger Damage for Aimed Shot, Speed Shot, and Quickdraw has been increased by approximately 5%. Sharpshooter Trickshot’s damage has been increased by approximately 5%. Imperial Agent General Snipe’s damage has been increased by approximately 5%. Sniper Damage for Ambush, Series of Shots, and Takedown has been increased by approximately 5%. Marksmanship Followthrough’s damage has been increased by approximately 5%. 1.2.0c Patch Notes 4/19/2012

Servers are now back up after some Unscheduled Maintenance.  Considering that this patch was more or less done for the event fixes alone I’m glad they tossed in a pile of extra fixes. As we talked about a few days ago, BioWare did some fixes to the Warzone also this time. The warzone commendations are significantly increased. Even for a win. I just won a Voidstar, Novare Coast and an Alderaan. 1.2.0b Patch Notes 4/17/2012

BioWare are using today’s server maintenance to push a small patch. They fixed the codex entry for the World Event and fixed the errors on the Tionese/Centurion gear which had Defense Rating stats on DPS/Healer gear. General An issue that prevented players from receiving the final Codex entry for the event has been corrected. Players that previously defeated Urtagh but did not receive the Codex entry and associated title will need to defeat the boss again in order to obtain it. Items Tionese and Centurion gear have had their stats corrected to pre-update 1.2 values. We’ve been waiting and anticipating. We are looking forward to 1.2. This is supposed to be the largest game update in SWTOR. In fact, many are considering it one of the largest free game updates in the history of MMOs. It’s large enough to be a game expansion and many are saying that it is what SWTOR was actually supposed to release at. Rumor has it that Electronic Arts pushed BioWare to release SWTOR by a certain date and they were not quite ready with all the content. The result was still a good game but not a complete game. Patch 1.1.2 Causes More Ilum Bugs – Emergency patch today!

Just when you thought PvP on Ilum was fixed, BioWare came in and borked it again! Patch 1.1.2 is reported to have caused even more bugs in Ilum. The biggest issue: kills on Ilum are not counting towards daily and weekly quests. According to reports in the official SWTOR forums, this problem occurred after Star Wars: The Old Republic patch 1.1.2 went live yesterday. 1.1.2 Patch Notes — 2/7/2012

Here are todays patchnotes. This patch fixes SO many issues like the Rakata weapons wich are now a correctly rated 140 – so finally time for a weapon upgrade. There are also a few “but why” updates in the patch, like this one: “Rakata reusable stims and adrenals have been reduced in power, providing buffs equal to Energized stims and adrenals. However, the tooltips for these items have not been updated and will still display old values.” – WHY? Anyways. Forcequake now consumes 60 Force (down from 120) over the duration of the channel (3 seconds, down from 6 seconds). Additionally, the snare on targets damaged by Forcequake has been removed. Balance Targets affected by Force Suppression now receive 15% additional damage (up from 10%) from your next 15 periodic damage abilities.
