I have been playing SWTOR since release and writing about it here since we first found out it was being made. I’ve been following the game, the development, the characters and more for over 8 years now. It’s been a wild ride and I love to see where the game has come so far. I am also particularly fond of this new revival of Star Wars in general in pop culture. It’s a great time to be a Star Wars fan! On that topic, it’s a great time for looking at what other Star Wars fans are doing and one of my favorite SWTOR YouTubers has a series of videos about armor sets found in the game. Today I am going to share her video about Sith Warrior armor. If you haven’t seen it yet, I think you’ll really enjoy it. Sith Warrior is a fun class to play and…

Concealment / Scrapper Proposed Survivability Changes
The below 2 posts are posts by a developer, not suggestions by players.: Hey Folks, This is the list I’m looking at to put in, mostly based on the feedback y’all have given here (using Imperial names because that’s what I have in my notes, don’t hate!) Friday update – Choose Your Side: Choose Your Side: Smuggler vs. Sith Warrior
Yesterday Bioware released the fourth and final installment in the “Choose Your Side” series, pitting the Sith Warrior vs the Smuggler class. In the video, the developers give you details on the type of playstyle and story you can expect from each class and then pit them against each other in a one-on-one battle to the death. From the moment we announced the eight classes in Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ fans have been pitting them against each other, arguing who would have the advantage in a one-on-one fight. The hallways of BioWare echo this debate, with the writers, combat designers and other developers all chiming in on which classes they feel will have the upper hand. In the fourth and final installment of “Choose Your Side,” writers and developers discuss the ins and outs of the Smuggler and Sith Warrior classes, highlighting some of the skills and abilities that…
SWTOR Level 50 Gear (Screenshots)
Not everyone got far enough into the beta testing/ game testing of SWTOR to be able to see level 50 gear. You may not have ever even seen a level 50, much less achieved the level cap for yourself. Here are some screenshots of the different classes with level 50 gear so you can see what it all looks like. The poster says: “High settings but with no AA forced on. Male human body type 2.Keep in mind this is just the gear available at vendors in the fleet, there’s still tons of other gear styles out there such as boss loot, quest rewards and crafting. So if you’re thinking oh man thats ugly, never fear, there shall be alternatives. Also: mod system!Apologies for no Republic stuff” So here you go! Have a look and let us know what you think. Intergalctic Intel: Sith Warrior
Intergalactic Intel: Sith Warrior My brother had an unusual sense of pride that should have been mine.“They loved it.” “They hated it.” We were both right.“What because some people don’t understand that the defintion of stealth doesn’t mean going invisible? Would they prefer you used the word…surreptitiousness?”“You just looked that up on thesaurus.com!” “Don’t let it get to you. You have 6 more classes to do.”“5.” I corrected him. “Sith Warrior comes out this week.” Welcome back to Intergalactic Intel. As always remember to take this with a truck load of salt, as this is still beta and much can change from now till release. Also remember these reviews are from levels 1-16, so the classes aren’t fully fleshed out as a whole yet. Without further ado, The Sith Warrior. Story: As the Sith Warrior you start on the Sith Home planet of Korriban. Home to the Sith Academy, a…

E3: gameplay footage day 1
First day of E3 is long gone and it’s time to recap on all the gameplay videos that hit us yesterday. GameSpot has around seven minutes worth of footage to go over. These are raw, unedited gameplay clips and as such they don’t look as ‘pretty’ as the previous gameplay trailers we’ve seen, but they do give us a little more insight into how the gameplay, particularly with groups, will play out. Check out the background music in the clips, they are absolutely killer! Gamespot Tanks perspective: SWTOR Life – Tatooine Sith Inquisitor Gameplay Swtor-Life had some time to play the Sith Inquisitor on Tatooine, so naturally some Krayt dragon’s had to die 🙂 The video is captured by camera, but still nice watch. Ask A Jedi – Tatooine Gameplay The guys over at Ask A Jedi also got some video footage from Tattoine. This video showes some nice footage of player transportation and the player map, as well as some…
