Star Wars: Uprising Review: The Mild Side of the Force

December is getting closer and we are all getting anxious and ready to visit the galaxy far, far away. The months that remain will not have any mercy on Star Wars fans that are shaking as they await more news about the upcoming Star Wars movie. The one thing that is making this wait even worse is that Disney has not been too shy about giving us supplementary merchandise that is based on the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie. For example, you can play Star Wars: Uprising, which is a mobile MMOG that seems to be running parallel with the upcoming movie’s events. At least, it mainly is the same but there are some moments when the game does not intersect with the new movie releasing in December. Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ character names revealed

The names of the new characters that appear in the first Star Wars: The Force Unleashed trailer were revealed today in a very unique way. Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy shared the names with Entertainment Weekly, which posted them in a gallery. But it wasn’t just any gallery. Rey (Daisy Ridley), seen riding a speeder across a desert. Finn (John Boyega), the nervous-looking, helmet-less Stormtrooper, described on his card as “on the run.” Now, we don’t yet know if these are the full names for each of these characters, or if any of these names might be aliases (this is…

Can the Dark Side of the Force be Used for the Greater Good?

Star Wars lore and The Force is something that has been written, discussed, debated and analyzed since the first film’s debut. One topic of the Star Wars story that has been questioned and debated over the years is that of the Force and Light and Dark side. In this video, we can explore the question “Can the Dark Side of the Force be used for the greater good?” Some will argue that the Dark Side itself is inherently evil and that simply by choosing to act on the Dark, you cannot do good, and that you will become evil. The same is said of the Light Side and good. But if we really break down the story, we see that even the Light Side sometimes questions their goodness or makes choices that could be considered “evil”. Maybe it is not really as black and white as we’d like to think….

Jedi Master Maul Mod for Battlefront II: When the Dark Side Just Wasn’t It Anymore

Darth Maul has been through a lot. He got sliced in half, stitched back together, lost his brother, got rejected by Sidious, lost to Obi-Wan (again), and then got taken out with one poetic slash on Tatooine. You’d think at some point he’d consider career counseling. Well, in this alternate timeline, he did. Thanks to the Jedi Master Maul mod for Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017), Maul’s officially turned in his Sith robes and red saber for a more peaceful, slightly more stylish path. This isn’t a fanfic—it’s a real mod, and it’s surprisingly convincing. The what-if scenario: What if Maul, tired of chasing revenge like a galactic drama queen, decided to take a deep breath, reevaluate his life choices, and join the Jedi Order? Or, at the very least, put on a fresh robe and try not to murder everything in sight. It’s a twist that turns one of…
