Star Wars Games: Top 5 Honourable Mentions

Star Wars games are like a fine wine – they only age better with time. But to be fair, the saga had its ups and downs throughout almost three decades of existence on the gaming market. Back in the mid-1990s and ‘00s, there have been more than two dozen Star Wars universe-themed games released explicitly for PC, and frankly, not every release fulfilled the developer expectations. Content Philosophy We wanted to take this opportunity to restate our ongoing strategy around releasing and curating new content in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. Specifically, we want to provide information about upcoming changes related to the recently released Sith Triumvirate Raid. We recognize that when a Raid is new, success in the Raid helps define high level competition in the game. Later, when the Raid becomes widely understood, we begin the process of designing a new Raid so players can be challenged again in this unique aspect of the game. We regularly…

In fact, even those unfamiliar with the film franchise may have played this two-player Living Card Game (LCG) set within Episodes IV, V and VI of the Star Wars story. With the next Star Wars film, The Last Jedi set to reach our cinema screens next month, this card game is almost certain to get some game time over the Christmas season, so we thought it’d be a good idea to give you the lowdown on the mechanics of the game and why it is winning over a new generation of Star Wars fans.
